It's been over a year and a half since I blogged. Last one was painful and the pain, though reduced is still there. But no crises now. My cancer continues grow but after 19 years and many surgeries and treatments, it's hard to get excited about it. Been playing a LOT of Destiny, looking forward to the new COD on tomorrow and, of course, HALO MCC next week! So Destiny may take a back seat for awhile. I hadn't played much Xbox for awhile with only an occasional over 50 Halo night until I got the Xbox One, Titanfall and then Destiny.
Why are video games and gamers are alike? They both get better with age of course.
For most of us here on 2old2play we started playing games during the late 70’s and early 80’s. This was an era when gameplay really did trump fancy graphics and music. Without your imagination it’s hard to get excited about your knight/spaceman/hero when in reality they’re represented by a pixelated block. Much like reading a good book, our imaginations filled in the gaps.
Since we're a community that started with Halo, what ideas do you guys have for the release of Halo's MCC? All night customs? 2o2p Match making? Let me know!
Let's see new job, new girl in my life.. I'm still a gamer at heart and would love to play but lately some events has made me put these things on hold for the time.. Me and th new women need to find a new place to live and unless I live like 50 miles away from Boston its just really expensive.
I told myself I wouldn't do it, but I couldn't help myself. When I imported my GT to the one, i used the wrong email, new gt=Bee Silver (old xbox silver account). Please add it or whatever it is you do on the xboxone, looking to just do some missions and take it slow, I already feel like I'm drowing in deep water on the game, don't really get it yet.
Well...my first youtube video ever. There's issues with it....I know. But not bad for a first attempt. I've seen worse. I'm still ironing out details on how to capture the footage AND get the best quality I can out of it. Right now I'm using Open Broadcaster, but it's very buggy when you start capping high-def video to your hard drive. So the quality isn't quite where I'd like it yet.
But anyway. Check it out and lemme know what you think.
Been a while since i've logged in and i need to be a little more active around here. Things have been crazy lately and Inhaven't been playing as much sadly. I did pick up Destiny on the PS4 so I'll be checking the forums for folks to add and game with.
On a side note, I finished another 60-in-1 arcade. This one is a small bartop. Turned out pretty cool.
