Dear Mr. Kenny 

Please find below my suggestion for fixing the Irish economy.
Instead of giving billions of euro to banks that will squander the money on lavish parties and unearned bonuses, use the following plan.

Well this week is the third year anniversary since I joined 2old2play.

I just want to say thanks to everyone who has made the last 3 years so much fun and also a big shout out to everyone behind the scenes who puts so much work into making the site function.

Heres to the next 3 years and 2old2play going from strength to strength.

I’ve read with interest the various threads and conversations that have sprung up in the last few days around what 2old2play is, where it should go and how it should get there.

I haven’t contributed so far and a lot (lot!) has been written. One of the reasons I’ve held back until now was because I wasn’t really sure what my opinion was regarding the future of the site.  It seems some sort of consensus is emerging though so coupled with my own opinions here is what I think we need to do as a community:

Especially for all you old farts who started playing video games back with Pong, the 2old2retro group is now up and running!

Its an "instant accept" group so feel free to drop and in and share your memories, meet some new people and hurry up before all the free beer gets drank.

2old2play is a great site with lots of different places for people to hang out, share experiences, ideas and good times.  As someone who is into game collecting and retro games I feel that the site is lacking a place to talk about these things. Surely there must be others on here with a similar interest, especially since we’re all old farts!

I’m going to post this in a few different forums and if I get some enough positive feedback I’ll propose that we either create a 2old2retro group or at the least have a forum thread devoted to all things retro.

You know I wonder about ebay.  I don’t think it loves me anymore

Every time I place a bid it still wishes me good luck and tells me it hopes that I win.  I just don’t believe it anymore. I have this horrible suspicion that I’m not the only one and that it’s saying the same thing to other people behind my back.

I’ve spent a lot of energy the last couple of years increasing my command of the Irish language; I’ve even blogged in Irish a couple of times. I graduated with a diploma last year and I’m currently working towards a degree. Sometimes people ask me why I bother learning what is essentially a niche language.
