Halo 3: Improvement Techniques 14.) Oddball and KotH strategies

Lonewolf games can sometimes be frustrating. The only person you have to blame or congratulate for your failures and successes is yourself. Hopefully previous blogs have helped you become a better killer by helping you stay away from camping bad areas with no escape routes; pulsing your weapons; choosing weapons to use in certain situations; remembering to look at your radar and most importantly; not getting tunnel vision. All of those tips will help you be a better killer. What they might not help you be, is a better lonewolf objective game player.

Lost Information........and some Live advice

Something came up and I lost three of my latest blog entries. For those of you who hadn't already seen them, I'll rewrite them later when I have the time.

Halo 3: Improvement Techniques 13.) Beat-Down Strats and Discussion

By now most of you know that the beat-down is no longer host driven. In other words, the first one to press the B button does not always win beat-down encounters. Instead, Bungie has decided who has received less damage is the winner of a beat-down confrontation so long as they press the B button within one second of their opponent pressing it. You'd think the way everyone has been complaining or lauding this change that Bungie has dramatically changed the way this game will be played.

They haven't.

Halo 3: Improvement Techniques 12.) Weapon Rankings

This week's blog isn't going to deal with any new skill set or methodology to killing. Today we're only concerned with the power rankings of weapons.

Halo 3: Improvement Techniques 11.) Isolating your Targets and Yourself

Isolating your targets is probably one of the things people don't really understand. In Halo 2, in rumble pit games, isolating your targets and keeping yourself from being someone else's target were paramount in victory. Many people didn't realize this and were all too happy to rush after the poor soul who didn't see them coming only to die by the hand of someone else who was stalkling them. Halo 3 is no different. Sometimes that easy looking kill just is too good to be true.
