Well.....got this week off for the 4th of July. I'm pretty much broke though which means I can't really do a whole lot except work on my arcade machine and hang around the house...maybe clean some. Oh well.

Still haven't hit the "God...I wanna game" mood yet. Tried playing a couple of nights with not much to show for it. Ah well. Guess its just not the right time yet.

What came in the mail today:

Sanwa arcade control goodness for the cabinet.

Its looking like I have all of next week off for the 4th of July. Paid vacation w00t! So I will be gaming and working on finishing up my arcade cabinet. Once I get it all finished I'll make a little video and post it on youtube, and here of course for you all to see.

A bit of an update on the control panel. All the neato angle pieces have been cut and added. So now its looking like a Vewlix. Pretty sexy.

Nothing super stellar...just decided to get some photoshop practice in and give some new sigs for my clannies to enjoy.

I've got the joystick and buttons on order. And Im slowly saving up some money and ordering the parts for the guts of the cab as I can afford them. There will also be a 360 in the cab so I can play Street Fighter IV on Live like it was intended.

I've been on kind of a gaming hiatus for a couple of weeks. But with that hiatus came some creative spark.

Since joystick sales are pretty much dead right now (for me at least), I figured I'd take my new woodworking knowledge to the next step and build an arcade cabinet.

So far I've made pretty decent progress and have only really spent about $190 on the project. So not too bad.
