I've been on kind of a gaming hiatus for a couple of weeks. But with that hiatus came some creative spark.

Since joystick sales are pretty much dead right now (for me at least), I figured I'd take my new woodworking knowledge to the next step and build an arcade cabinet.

So far I've made pretty decent progress and have only really spent about $190 on the project. So not too bad.

Here's the progress so far.

I haven't played shit in the past few days.....and I really don't want to. Dont wanna game with my clan, don't wanna game with friends......I haven't even touched my PSP at all while Im sitting on the couch.

All I've been doing when I get home from work is watch movies.....or I'll sit at my computer, turn my 360 on.....stare at my friends list for a while.....then just turn it off.

Dunno how long its gonna last. I just hope no one takes my lack of online participation as personal.

When your boss storms out of the room during a meeting....and starts yelling at his wife that we were a bunch of "fat-ass idiots".....slamming things around, throwing things.....and just repeating "idiots.....morons.....you'll know whats going on.......goddammit!"

I left because I frankly didn't feel like spending the night in prison for assault & battery. But now comes the question for tomorrow.....do I confront him about it? Or just leave it alone, do my job and try to forget it happened.....and if it happens again, ignore him.

Been seriously craving some Halo 3 fun. Shot out some FR's in hope of getting in some games. So far no dice. Sucks. You pay money for some cool maps and you can't play them with anyone.

Anyway. I scrapped the arcade design I was working on. Found a much cooler one thats gonna be 100x easier to put cut out and put together. So hopefully this weekend I'll be able to buy what I need and get a good bit done before the storms start rolling back in. This past week has been rainy and dreary up until yesterday. This weekend better stay nice.

Oh man...just listened to the new Mastodon album, Crack the Skye. Damn good. One or two tracks I can live without. But the rest is metal goodness.

Had a very odd and nasty experience today. But before I tell it...let me paint a little history.

There's a customer that comes in once in a blue moon that we call "The Copy Lady"....she gets copies of odd things. Magazine subscription cards, envelopes...etc. And she never pays full price. She just says "well this will do" and empties whatever change she has on the counter. And its always 20 or so cents short of what it needs to be.

But we ignore it because its not a big deal.
