A friend of mine and I had a very interesting conversation yesterday about immersion in video games...and how you can become emotionally invested in the characters. He regaled about several RPGs he had played in the past that touched him emotionally. I sadly up to this point in my gaming career have yet to be touched by a gaming experience. Now I've been gaming since I was 5 or 6 years old....I'm getting close to 30 now.

An open-source Linux based gaming handheld that does some media stuff and runs emulators and whatnot.

Do any of you out there have one of these? If so is it worth the money? Easy to use?

My cousin still has not turned up. And so I'm leaning more towards that this has more potential for good than if they had of found him by now. I see it as this....if they haven't found him, he's not dead. They would have found him more than likely by now. Its been 3 weeks and there were no signs of kidnapping or foul play by his room mates or anyone he works with.

I've been having a rough time physically the past week or so. Fighting off a flu or bad head cold or something I dunno. But its been rough with everything else going on.

Jules has been having an even harder time. Her meds still aren't quite right. So she thinks it might be time to either go to IOP or stay in the hospital for a few days till they get everything set straight. I hope she can get the IOP instead. Means she can still be at home. Not stuck in the funny farm.
