This is not a typical post for me. This is me on two hours of sleep...for the third night.. I apologize in advance if this post is completely random and typo infused. I hope to be back to myself later this evening or tomorrow after a few hours rest. Insomnia plus full time classes plus part-time work sometimes makes for strange sleeping habits. You may want to skip this one - I'd totally understand. I'm only posting cause I feel the need to be social but my eyes keep closing and I'm typing slower and slower.

I’ve been thinking about clans and cliques this week in relation to video games...and gaming in general.

I’m a member of a couple of clans here and it is a brand new experience for me. I’ve never really joined them before. I’m pretty quiet in the ones in which I am a member right now too. I check our forums but I haven’t quite figured out how to jump into things. But then, I think in part I’m having left over nerves. See, I was always hesitant about joining clans – I saw them as glorified cliques.

I am sure I am so very late to this party, but a friend recently picked up a PS3 (Final Fantasy Hardcore fan) and a copy of Dead Space then asked me to come over and check it out as he started to play it to see what I thought. Personally, I think tough guy that he is, he didn't want to 'fess up that he didn't want to start playing it alone..and that's okay with me. It was worth it to see him jump when one of the "creatures" "goosed" him in a particuarly dark area.

Well due to some REALLY unfortunate health issues with people at work I've been at work the last two days. Which is good - I'm happy to help out while others heal, but still frustrating as I was really getting into the whole lethargy thing. Work is high tension at the moment and all of my relaxed state was surely tested. In the end I'm not super relaxed, just elated it's Friday.
