Random story I just recalled:

Many years ago I took my son to the Rosemont Theater to see a live performance of Big Comfy Couch.  It was one of the shows I used to watch with him on PBS.  The woman who played that clown was actually quite attractive.

Anyway, remember the clock stretch she would do on the show?

She did it during the live performance, and no shit...a loud cheer erupted from all the dads in the audience.

So I broke down Friday and decided to buy an ipass.  All of a sudden it seems like I'm using the tollroads regularly so it just made sense.  I went to Jewel and coughed up my $52 then went home to activate it online since I needed it that afternoon.

Imagine my surprise when I was told that my account and transponder couldn't be activated because I had multiple violations against my license plate.  Umm...no.  I fucking hate tolls, hate the concept behind them but I always pay them.  I'm too tired and too broke to make social statements anymore so I just pay them and move on.

So today begins week 5 of working out.  I'm happy to say that I haven't missed any workouts and have remained on track, even though I've had a sinus infection for about 10 days now and am running into some allergy issues.  But on the bright side you can almost tell that maybe I kinda lift weights.  So yay!

...I was right.  Double elimination Tuesday night on MasterChef.  In fairness, of the 8 remaining the 2 that went were probably the weakest cooks left.  But I kind of liked them, especially the blonde.  :)

It wasn't that long ago that I looked down my nose at reality tv. I think it was the crap I was exposed to on MTV that started it. The Real World? Not really. I never really got into Survivor (still don't care for it) and Big Brother didn't hook me either. Then I caught the 2 part season 1 finale of The Apprentice. I was hooked by the coifed one, as well as the villainy (and stupidity) of some the contestants, especially Amarosa. Next thing I knew I was buying the full season on dvd when it came out not long after and watched it for a few seasons still until I couldn't take it anymore.
