Full Circle

Within the past month or so, I have been in touch with my old band mates from the '90's.  My very first band, only 6 months after learning to play drums, 3 buddies from high school and myself decided to form a band, and "Plodding Misery" was born, lasted from 1991 until 1995.  We recorded a couple of self recorded demo's on cassette tape.  The Bass player and I have been swapping tapes and putting everything on Cd., we got in touch with the singer, and one of the original guitarists, decided to put up a Myspace, and plan on getting together and writing a couple new songs, sort of a reunion

Drama, Thoughts, and randomness

I've been driving overnight now for almost 4 weeks, they just hired a guy, training him for a week, then getting HIM on the road, putting me back to the normal 8-5 schedule.  I get to work today to load my truck, and the St. Louis route driver tells me he's quitting Friday, he starts a new job Monday.  But he's not telling our boss until Friday, (we're off Friday's).

So I say to myself...."FUCK"

Drama, Thoughts, and randomness

Busy night in KC

I was making my usual deliveries, driving north on 71, I look to my left and see this,,,

I dropped my deliveries off, and tried to get in close to take some pics, but got blocked off by the train hub   but it was pretty cool

Then coming out of KC, I got into some storms, so much lightning it looked like a strobe light, at one point I was driving 30 mph, in a 70 mph, with my hazards on, I could only see about 5 feet in front of me for almost 30 miles.........it sucked.

Stupid Shit

So here I am on my way to work, checking my clan forums and such...........wait what's this?  I've been kicked out of DOB?  and taken off certain people's friends list?  For no fucking reason?  And it seems the same has happened to Durty.  Evidently there a certain people, (DKF, DF) who cannot stand up to their wives or significant others, who get jealous when there spouse is playing games with certain people.

The mature thing to do is to pm certain people, explaining what the problem is, try to work out said problem, and move on with life.

over night driving woe's

Last week my boss called me, and said that he fired the Kansas City night driver, and needs me to cover for a while.  So I now drive 400-500 miles a night, I go in at 4-5pm, leave town around 6:30,get home anywhere from 3am to 6am.
