I've been waiting for this, it should have been a part of Dawnguard...

That Minecraft game looks pretty good, I don't know why everybody was talking about 8 bits graphics...

Anyone else having trouble getting all the couriers to bring you the note? I got the note for one hold, but not the other two. Still can't buy all 3 plots of land.

I had to google this to find the answer because I was having the same problems. It appears that if you are already a Thane, just go to the Jarl's steward and the option to buy the land should be there, even without the note. I got a note about adoption but not the note from the Jarl.

From what I understand you can only get the opportunity to buy only one plot of land if you joined the Legion and defeated the Stormclokes.

I'm a Thane in Whiterun but I get nothing about buying land when I talk to the Jarl's stewart.

I've approached him several times over several days but still nothing.

I defeated the stormcloaks and was able to buy the land from Morthal and Dawnstar, but I haven't been able to buy the one from Falkreath.  I think I just need to do a quest in Falkreath though.  The wiki says you won't get courier notes if you are a Jarl, but you don't have to be a Jarl to buy the land.  You just have to do a quest for each Jarl first.  Those three places are the only ones you can buy land from, but I think you can add a children's room to any house you already own in any other city too.

I have the exact same problem, can't remember if I've done enough quests in the Falkreath area to "unlock" the dialogue.

In two of the locations, you have to talk to the stewards to buy the land. I never received any notes ( like your supposed to), so i dug around on youtube to get the info i needed.  All i did was talked to the stewards, chose the buy a house option....then they offer to sell you a plot of land instead.  Seems this happens to alot of people. My understanding , that if you are already a thane in the location, you wont receiv the notes. But i was able to buy all 3 plots, just havent done it yet. building one house at a time. A lot of fun though, liking the DLC so far.

I got the land plot for Falkreath.  Had to finish one quest to complete 3/3 for the Jarl there in order to get the steward to appear.  I've almost completed my house (much easier to do when you have a steward that can either sell you things directly, or give you hints on where to get supplies).

My character has a bounty in almost every city, so I've been enjoying playing him as a solitary character shunned by society even after becoming the dragonborn.  Living with his mistakes and his curse as a werewolf, he is choosing to live in the woods of skyrim and trying to make peace with himself for whatever days he has left.

Will the bloodlust of the beast living inside of him take hold again sending him on another murderous rampage, or will Skyrim face a threat so large that the country must once again call upon the one person everyone truly hates to defend them?  Who knows....
