Ok so thinking on the way home from work I might have the best solution.
As I pretty much don't have a clue about what you can do in Reach, how about I look after the Forza side (Forza team + Events) and a Halo guy looks after Halo things (Halo team + Events)
Once we get some fun match ideas sorted you come over to our game and we come to yours.
This is a fantastic idea. Could you just mix the teams up so forza and halo guys are split between each other?

Parcells here, a Forza guy . Well, some of my brethren think I like to wear a dress but I digress. Parcells was reading the Forza version of this thread and knowing the degenerates that is 2O4F I originally only came to this thread to place my money on the Halo guys. There's no way in hell you guys can lose, all you need to do is win one forza event and Forza has plenty of "non-racing" events where as I'm doubtful Halo has many "non-shooting" events. Of course who hasn't played an FPS game so maybe Parcells hasn't thought this completely through. In any case you guys have everything under control.
@wamam - I see you've met some of us already.
Parcells money (I have no money, spent it all on a race cockpit) is still on the Halo guys!
I think we could just keep the format of we do our stuff you do yours. I really just want this to be an fun event where points will be scored but wont really matter... This time
I would assume cars could be made/traded/created/tuned so all the cars are equal (vehicle performance wise). kind of the idea of Nascar. So if the forza guys have the ability to do that, then no one would worry about having a better performing car.
On the opposite side of the coin, the Halo guys could set up games with a DMR/AR setup (if you do not race games games.). I would suggest just not doing snipper games.
Only a suggestion/question.
If you guys could record the games that would be awesome to check out.
I want to do this. It really depends on date and time. I usually don't get online until 11ish pm est. I guess with a big enough lead time I can make it happen.
In regards to Jones statement about the factory spec car/level ground situation,
think of it as handing a stone stock mechanical sniper sight M1 rifle to your guys and ours and giving them one bullet each on a windy day at 600 yards...
everyone has the same gun, but it's the guy holding it...
Race stock Hummers or Dodge Rams, then see who survives the first turn...
This sounds like a FUN community thing to me, win or lose. *If too complex or nit-picky = no fun.
If I had the game I would participate no matter the conditions or how terrible I was. Looks like a fun idea.

I just added forza 4 to my game fly list. If i can get the game in time this soulds like fun. then i can be awful at two games now.
Wish I could come out to play, I could lag in two games LOL, make shure this is a winner 'cause when I'm back I'll be up for some of this action.
