Anyone grab NHL 13 today?
I picked it up out of pure weakness. I liked the demo and the new skating system is quite the improvement.
If anyone's up for a game, give me a shout. It will be a very easy win for you. I suck more than Tukker's mom....which is quite a feat. .gif "115"){kind=small}
I also wouldn't mind trying out that GM mode now that you can take it online. That might be fun to get a 2o2r GM competition going.
Played last year's and really wasn't impressed.
That's why I mentioned I picked up this year's version.
Give the demo a look. The new skating system is a huge improvement to the game.
Spot, you gotta check it out. The "NHL Moments Live" are pretty damn fun. I played through a few of them last night.
They drop you in key moments of past games and task you with "Changing History" or finishing the game as it really happened. He're one I did last night:

You have to play as Gilmour in the 1993 Norris Division finals and get a goal in 2OT. Don't get excited...not the 1993 rosters, just Gilmour from 1993.
One that I tried a few times last night (and it's pretty damn tough) is when you have to play as the Devils and come back from down by 4 in the 3rd to beat the Kings in game six in this year's finals. I'll get that eventually...It's driving me mad.
