I'm going with Axton. I've mapped it out, and I can have a teleporting turret with rockets and a shield by level 38. I'm not opposed to playing as the gunzerker if the commando class is a little crowded.
I find myself wanting to play a support role, so I'm leaning towards Maya in Harmony, or Axton. Possibly Salvador's Brawn tree. It's gonna be tough to decide!
I dunno. After reading about that "girlfriend mode" skill tree I'm worried the mechromancer is just going to be the noob class and probably not as fun. I may roll with the siren this time around. Phase lock seems like it may be as cheap as Mordecai's bird was last game.

The "girlfriend mode" is the Best Friends Forever tree. It is intended for people that are new to gaming. There is, however, a different tree for the Mechromancer class called Anarchy (I think?) that is intended for hardcore FPS fans. Abilities that stack over large chunks of time.
For example, increased weapon damage the longer you can avoid getting downed.

I loved playing as Lilith...the siren was an awesome class in Blands1. So I'm going to say no to avoid any personal shame. :P
It's either between Axton or Zero for me. I was Lilith and the Berserker last game so I'll change it up.
