MODS: Why is this a subforum?
This is possibly the biggest game of the year so far, for consoles at least, and the forum is buried within the RPG forum? Not only that, but for those that might even want to take the time to find it might not think to look within RPG, as it's also a FPS.
You say you want people posting in the public forums more, this is a good way to slow that down.
Please take this as a message of concern, not anger.
+1. It is a bit confusing.

Would be nice. 2old2Pandora :P
I am concerned too; the ME3 subforum has more posts than the COD, GOW and D3 divisions combined. It closed in on Battlefield quickly. Driven by Co-Op Multiplayer content created by new users. Look at the FoF tag for BL2 as an example, content organized and created by a new member. A member, I am proud to say, of 2old2rpg; a clan that predates the entire RPG section here at 2old2play.
As you pointed out in your comment, "it is burried in the RPG forum". All the major RPG titles are burried in favor of main stream FPS games. However, any person that plays RPGs knows where to find it, who is setting up the games and that this is going to be the next big co-op thing we do. In fact, we like to aggressively point out to any new member that posts any interest in ANY RPG where we can be found and direct them to sign up on the FoF lists so we can get them into a couple games.
Not for nothing, I think the RPG section is easily the best run section here at 2old2play. The Mods do a terrific job with it and it is a active, growing community. If I may be so bold to say, kill off a couple of the FPS divisions. Clearly, GOW and COD don't seem to have the following like they used to. I would love to see a couple divisions fall aside for some of the more popular co-op RPG games. Perhaps a more agressive rotation cycle?

Some interesting points have been made. Just thought I would throw in my two cents as well. I'm a somewhat random gamer. I started with 2o2p with gears1 and have enjoyed the series. I also dabble in Halo and CoD and have had some memorable times doing so. In days past I loved rpgs...especially in the old school nintendo, snes and ps one days and several mmos sucked up a few years. Today for me at least it's all about the co-op and having fun in a group that it is rare for me to be able to sit through and focus on SP games. So games like Borderlands scratch all the right places for me so to speak.
That being said...before the new version of the site I rarely ventured beyond our clan forums. I didn't really need to as we had a decent pool of active posters and members who played regularly together. When the site changed (and I admit it probably started slowing some beforehand) forum activity for us dropped to nothing. So I've been pushing myself out of my comfort zone in a sense to find others to converse with and plot against (this means you Polteg). I agree that I don't think the GoW or CoD divisions should be subbed however for me at least it was just by chance I stumbled onto the Borderlands forums. Yes, I know it says it in the bold black print, but I don't really read/pay attention to the fine print. So, I'm just saying for those of us that may not be in 2old2rpg and are pointed in the right direction it would be nice to see some of these popular rpg type games added to the divisions so that more people might take notice and join in on the fun.
I personally had no trouble finding it. I"ve got some of the earliest posts in this forum .
You don't count...you're all over the site from what I've seen. :P
It took me three tries at first to find the forum. First I went to the Divisions (where I think it belongs), then to FPS, then finally to RPG. Not a huge deal, cause I have it bookmarked now., but other people might have the same problem.
@Gigler, I love the referance in your sig! You are right but I imagine it is tough to put everything up on the marquee. I am thinking that the big ticket, comunity games should be up there. Good examples are the Halo comunity night and 2old4forza's racing leagues. You have popular games right on the front page where everyone can find a game on any given day without joining a clan. Honestly, when I look in say, the COD forum, I see very few posts but I do see that there are clans that have matches nightly.
Everyone has a comfort zone. It is easier to go out and be social when you can make a contact within our awesome community. That person hooks you up with a couple more people and next thing you know you have a "go to" group of people you enjoy playing with. Not a clan but a group of people you enjoy hanging with and playing the game of choice. With the ME3 group we had it set up where anyone could jump into our party, if the rooms were full, we would direct them to a person looking to play. A simple message later and they had a group too!
I would really like to see the same thing for this game.
@ Loc ^^ Thx. It's one of my favorite quotes from that movie. You're right in that the Halo/CoD ect games are still very popular in play throughout clans and in general. I even agree that once knowing where to look it really isn't an issue to make a bookmark or that one extra mouse click to get here. Just wishing that some of the more rpg centered games got some highlight in there as well since they have an active community as well.
I'm no programmer, but I got to thinking about it and noticed the collapsable areas...would it be possible to add a customizable or favorites section so you could say select your top 5-8 forums and have them grouped all into one area? No clue if that is possible or even really needed it was just a random thought that made me curious.
They actually responded to you in the request forum post you did and agreed to add it to the divisions list if I read that right
@Jikado... I don't think anyone took offence. It looks like everyone agrees with the point you made.
Looks like Doodi is up for making a Division, but you guys need a Division leader(s) first. Requirements are stickied at the top of the BL thread.
