just to be clear - I think the game looks fantastic and I'm checking it out for sure. Just at an uninformed glance it doesn't look to encompass the same amount of tactical weapons / heat management that MWO does that's all. 2 different flavors of a great game mechanic - nothing wrong with that! And yes there was a heat shutdown that I noticed - but I also noticed just endlessly running around, jumping and holding the fire down on the weapons a lot as well....so while there does appear to be some kind of heat limit I would guess that it looks to be a very limited aspect....of course I could be wrong having never played it. They game looks fast and exciting and is graphically gorgeous - can't wait to give it a spin.

I'd like to get my hands on it too. Also, in Mechwarrior, some weapons were just held down too! Such as, machine guns! Load up a mech with only machine guns and go leg-crazy haha
LOL... if you wanna chase a mech around trying to leg it for an hour :) The machine guns are showpieces, they do max 0.4 damage per second, and the most you could put on any mech in the game right now is three anyhow. Not the most intimidating ballistic weapons in the game to be sure. In fact, when I hear a machine gun pinging me, I rush the guy, because I know he's gimped himself with that loadout :)

TBH I'm more excited by this than Mech Warrior, but its only based on the visuals at the moment.
This actually looks quite fun. Although, it may end up being a little too 'quick twitch' for me...we'll see.

yep - don't see any heat issues or torso twisting etc. looks fun but I think it might lack the depth of MWO.
