September 30

is the day I leave for a 2 week cruise.  Guess who is GM?  It was only Fortunecase and myself, and I guess I got lucky.  The problem is, I will be out of town for the next 2 weeks (at least) and so it falls to FC.  With all these summer festivals going on, will you be around next Sunday??  Anyways, I am busy packing between working and all, so my imagination for some kind of quirky format just left for somewhere, don't know where.  First of all, I need a volunteer to take my place as GM.  Then, I guess playing a 5 color pauper deck would be interesting.  Whew.  Glad I don't have to build that one!  If you, whoever you are, want to be GM next Sunday, you can change the format to whatever you like.  Will see y'all when I get back!!!

Oh, interesting.  Are you saying the planes fly that low?  Well, it took some getting used to, but I live directly under a flight path and sometimes the planes are so low that, yes, it feels like you can touch them.  And thanks for the date.  It was fun.  234

I sold my momir avatar after our first league using it...back when I thought it was expensive at 3 tix! I'm not sure how many newer players have one, or would want to pay 12 tix for one.

We play momir every now and then and it seems most sunday players have one.

I've seen it is over 10 tix now but hey , i bought mine for 9 tix and that was 4 years or so ago.

Perhaps you can borrow penni's avatar 1

Wow, that's pretty low!  But, they have to land and take off somehow.  The airport is less than a mile from where I live, so they do fly pretty low in order to land, but.....not over my house!

Hey Fort,

Back in the late 80's, my exwife had gallbladder surgery and it was major surgery where they really cut her open. She recovered fine but it was a big thing.

Now days they tend to go in with a couple tube size holes and cameras and things and the patient is up & moving & going home the next day. I've had a couple friends go through that and it almost isn't a thing. So hang in there dude, we'll see ya next Sunday.  251

All went well so i could take her home tuesdayevening.

She had to swallow a tube and they took it through her stomach to clean and widen those pipes in there.

Perhaps it needs to be removed later but for now linda feels ok and is going to work tomorrow.137
