Gamefly subscribers - Want a free month??
Disclaimer: The below "trick" worked for me. But I have been a member there for a long time. Not sure if this will be indicative of anyone else's experience.
The Story: I am currently "renting" Resident Evil 6 from Gamefly. It is looking like a long game and I was considering just buying the game and shutting down my Gamefly account for 2-3 months. So, I went to "My Account" and "Cancel My Membership". I was just going to check out how it works, etc. Well, lo-and-behold, they just straight offered me a free month of membership. NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!

Same for me last month. They must be hurting. My issue is the turn around time has been terrible, even for games with high availability.
I think they've been doing this for as long as they've been in business.
No one told me. I need to threaten to quit more often.
You probably need to wait a year before they'll offer it again.
a long turn around still beats paying $60 for a pile of shit game you can just send back
