question for niteowl
Because niteowl and me were out of the tourney pretty quick we played each other just for fun.
I think we ran into a bug of somekind
He blocked my metallic sliver with indrik stomphowler so i played gaze of the gorgon to regenerate my sliver and kill indrik.
For some reason indrik survived.
Several things triggered and we were both pretty sure indrik should have died.
I put this onto the main mtgo forum but i would like to see what happened.
I cannot replay this game because it is simply not there while the games i played before that can be replayed.
So nite , can you watch the replay of this game ?.......the match id is 88012633
laterrrrrrrrrrr
I don't have the game saved for me either. I don't know why it saves some & not others.
As far as I remember it happened like this....
You attacked with...
Then you played this....
We both thought that Indrik should have died. But I don't remember if anything else was in play at the time.
Is it possible that you accidentally targeted my creature(Indrik) by clicking on it? Thereby making it the creature that was regenerated.
Other than that, I'm stumped. Sorry....gg btw.![156 156](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/_(156).gif)
EDIT:
Further looking into this strange event I discovered evidence that shows my previous theory is likely correct....
Historically, poisoning your own troops while giving the enemy medicine became known as "Holland's Folly". Later in history this lead to the expression, "Oh no! I hope I didn't Dutch this!". Or in America, " Oh God!, I'm in Dutch now!".
Sadly, the Queen of Holland's censoring of the internet & purge of historic facts prevents most Dutch citizens from knowing these things, similar to the Chinese purging of all things relating to Tianamen Square.
I hope that helps Fort....If you're able to read this without the censors blocking it.![80 80](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/_(80).gif)
Heh i never heard that story but i'll look into that cuz it sounds interresting.![2 2](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/_(2).gif)
About the game.....gaze of the gorgon triggered hidden gibbons wich turned from an enchantment into a 4/4 ape critter.
My sliver did survive but for some reason your toshiro umezawa triggered but you did not use the ability to play something from your graveyard.
BTW where did you get those cardpictures you put in there ? Tried to do that before myself but it took me too much time so i went for a beer![73 73](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/_(73).gif)
I got the pics from....
www.mtgotraders.com/
When you get to the screen of the card you want, right-click on the pic and hit " Copy Image Location". Then come back here & click on the icon for "Image". Paste the link in the space for "URL" and Woolah!
I think I remember that your sliver died. If so, it's why Toshiro triggered. I didn't use the ability because I don't think I had the mana to pay for the kill card in my graveyard.
It would also explain my theory that you accidentally clicked on my Indrik as the crit to regen.![128 128](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/_(128).gif)
naah i did not click on indrik because my sliver would have died if i had done that.
But if my sliver was regenerated it could not have been in the graveyard soooooooo
aaaahhh whatever.
I tried to find hollands or dutch folly but all i got were housing sites and even an area in georgia with that name.
Also tried american expressions and found a lot my ancesters left there but not what you mentioned.
What event is this linked to nite ?
I was totally kidding you fort. Cuz I have a wierd sense of humor.![6 6](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/_(6).gif)

edit........weeeee it did...............![59 59](http://www.2old2play.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/_(59).gif)

But back in the days of sailing ships anything was ok for some profit , even selling out your own men.
The dutch were probably the biggest bastards of their time.
Unlike today were somedays this land seems to be filled with pussies(not the nice ones)
