I diverted off the main quest to Scarlet at level 25.  Loving it so far.

Hyperius for me was the harder of the two bosses to fight.  I guess ther's a little nook one person can squeeze into by the entry gate.  Walk in and go left and there's a pipe running down with some framing around it, if you tuck in there, you can avoid most of his attacks.

Also Turrets with bubble shields seemed to help a lot as well.   When he does his BS EMP attack it takes all your shields and 99% of your health with no way to avoid it.  If you run into the turret shield, it'll absorb most the shock.  Not sure if the soldier has a way of boosting that shield but it seemd to only last for one attack.  Since there's absolutly no cover out there in the area, two soldiers with double turrets lets you make your own cover.  Probably would be best to have them alternate so when one is on cool down the other can toss out the turret(s) and back and forth.

We also had a zer0 that pretty much meleed the shit out out all the drone robots and killed them all pretty quickly.

Both these boss fights are 'cheap' in my opinion.

You forgot to mention the oodles of cool crystals(8) you get after spending (I spent $30 million at least) millions fighting(but mostly dieing) the invincible one and the 2+ hours you spent bonding with others in the same predicament. AND the cheapest thing we could have bought cost 50 crystals BUT couldn't buy anything. Priceless.

What you need to kill Gee:

-3 people minimum, 4 recommended

-1 siren with ruin and reviving at a distance skills.  The siren is the medic and stays to the extreme edge of the arena

-placable (non himing, bouncing whatever) singularity grenades, use these to suck him into the poison when he's being difficult or kneeled

-One person needs to have a slag weapon and be the worm shooter

-three other people need fire weapons for killing the worms once slagged

-The non-medic roll people should stay close to the center so Gee doesn't end up running too far away from where the worms pop up.

The fight isn't hard but it is time consuming and takes team coordination.  The worms will come up at a set interval, say that's 20 seconds.  So you have 20 seconds to kill the worm and get Gee to run over the poison cloud before the next worm comes up.  Slagging Gee before he runs thru the cloud seems to increase the odds that he'll take the damage and close the cloud saving you time from having to try and run him thru the cloud multiple times.

YOu don't want to get 'behind' , if you still have one poison cloud and a worm comes up, don't kill the worm.  Deal with the poison cloud first, the longer it hangs out the wider the poison gets eventually killing you all.  If you get behind 2 or 3 worms, you're fucked, you won't win.  Keeping ot the invisible timer is the key to success in this fight.

I killed him once over the weekend but it was 'off mission' so I still have to kill him with the mission active... was hoping i wouldn't have to fight him again , oh well.

It's basically what we did.

One guy is the runner and 3 guys are the worm killers

Even better is that none of those pink guns you buy with the DLC are even worth the effort to buy anyway.  Most good quality purples are better than anything in that store.  The only thing that's interesting is the shield, it does do health regen . The offset though is that the capaicty is like 28k or something so relatively low.  YOu need health regen because the shield is gonna pop after every hit and take health with it on TVHM :)

By far the best thing about the Booty dlc is the treasure room.  Using the 'developer pathway' to get back into the room is by far the most lucrative farming you can do in this game thus far.

Iv'e seen some videos of people using the rock by the entry gate to kill him solo.  They go and kill him normally with the worms until his shield drops.   Then they go hide behind the rock and let the poison kill him slowly.  If you are behind the rock, the worms don't spawn and he can't hit you with his rockets.

This is what I did - not proud of it but was playing solo and couldn't take him out the old fashioned way ;)  Gee disappeared 3 times when his shield was 1/2 way down, then the 360 froze 4 times as soon as the 'turn in' box checked. I had to pause the second it checked then quit and save then restart to complete. It takes about 90 minutes too.  So, not a good method for farming but it'll complete the mission.  Burned though all my eridium trying to kill Gee.
