Just how the hell does that work? If the intent is for it to be an early warning system I think there are some flaws in that idea too. If your argument is the rattling wooden spoon gives you three seconds quicker notice (of already boiling over pot mind you? how could it not be?) and more audible then the standard steam engine generated sounds from your stove becoming a mess I'll give you that but it's a pretty weak argument don't you think?
That BMW pick up I believe is from Sweden I saw a documentary on them converting cars to pick ups to avoid crazy tax laws. One guy had a Porsche 928 very professionally done.
