OT - New vintage car added to the stables.
Bought a new one. Ok, so it actually happened a couple nights ago...but didn't want to post it until I had pics. I knew you guys would tweak out. .gif)

You going to paint it green?
Very nice!
I hate to point it out though mate, there is a bit miss :D
Yeah, like the motor & trans! It's just a roller. Going to throw my existing drivetrain in it for now and enjoy it. There are some rust issues on the green car that may be unsavable...we will see. I may experiment with it (green one) and do a tube frame rear end in an attempt to save it.
As far as future plans, I would ultimately love to have a GT replica. But time will tell if I am able to come up with the required time & money to see it through. Probably almost $10K to do a proper "budget" 6 conversion.

I think i prefer the original shape, but ofc that is personal :D
Can you do much in the way of running gear swaps?
There are a lot of gearing possibilities available. The 901 trans was in service for over 10 years in both the 914 & 911 in various configurations.
