To bad some guys got dropped with tech problems.....also looks like we have another contender moving up the ranks with neverender....congrats m8!
first race i was having an awesome battle with knight for about 5-6 laps to bad there was the pile up in turn 2 :( would have loved to continued that battle for the rest of the race!
Great racing guys and thanks to all that showed up, that was a difficult track especially with the ai struggling too......next track in 2 weeks is Oulton park
Knight/Neverender did either of u finish in the top 5 of the second race?
In the second race I think I was 7th overall and Knight would have been 5th overall. Excellent series again, doing battle with Knight in both races was tough. I would get close enough to draft but could never overtake.
I also picked up the sin:speed tach app for my ipad which seemed to help. Having a nice giant dispaly of red numbers telling me to shift really worked.
Good work there Neverender, and some great battles. What a tough track to overtake, and that AI...LOL Plumes of smoke giving me heart attacts every other corner.
Back at you Knight. Looking at your rearend (no homo) for 2 races was not fun! I think I could have gotten you at the very end of the second race, if I hadn't run into the AI driver. You made contact on that last chicane and the AI was all over the place. Great race!
Just did a few laps at Oulton Park, holy crap! I hope you guys are ready to get airborn because that track is bumpy as hell! I am glad we have 2 weeks to get used to that track because it is a twisty mother with lots of bumps, should make for one hell of a race.
that was some serious fun! Greatly enjoyed it even though I seem to keep putting myself at the back for some strange reason
Hopefully I was racing fairly clean, I think at one time I may have got carried away taking a couple corners away from Helios and another time I ran into someone when I didn't back off the throttle .
Anyways really enjoyed that track and these cars!!
Glad u enjoyed it Fred! Run your style the more guys push the easier it is to run with each other and learn each others racing characteristics.
@helios I believe I heard u saying ingame u stalled in the pits again and had a long pit that cost u?
In the 2nd race I stalled in it in the pit while they were changing my tires I hit the start/clutch/gas and it fired back up before they were done the change....16.8 secs change
Do u have a starter button mapped or the ignition ? Honestly not sure what the difference is? But I just use the start/clutch/gas to start up a stall :)
Ok Oulton Park is one seriously fun track. I was overwhelmed at first at the sight of it but I think I am getting the hang of it. In no way am I bragging but I just wanted to share my best time so far, just to see if anybody else has had a go at this track and see what some good times are. I think there are a few spots I can improve on to gain a few 10ths here and there.
So far my best lap is 1:45.056.
I would like to get into the 1:44's but not sure I can do that consistently on this twisty track. Can't wait to see you guys on it in two weeks.

No needs to feel that you are bragging Never.
It also helps guys like me as I now have a time to aim for.
I haven't run it since testing it for the series, but from what i remeber a lot of time can lost or made in the 2 chicanes and if memory serves me correctly the last turn is a bit tricky....ill run some laps in the morning and see what times I can produce :)
Okay just done a handful of laps...damn this is a lumpy, bumpy, twisty arse of a track, 1:45 is very respectable and I am a way off at the moment. Tried it with AI and that is even worse...
10 laps with the BMW and not once did I complete a lap without crashing / spining.
10 laps with a Seat and not once did I spin or crash.
Can I change my car to a Seat pleaseeeeee
I tried to warn you back at the start. But noooo. You wouldn't listen.
Honda Racing has a new secret weapon.....to be debuted at the next WTCC round. Better reinforce those bumpers. Hopefully Melg can make the next one too.
Wait! Church is actually going to make it?
Don't brake LOL Go with full race fuel I meant to say that, just change at least two tires at pit stop.
Church its 6 not 7, it got changed back.
Please accept my sincerest apologies to the person who hit me on that last lap of race one.
Seriously sorry fella.
Hey the AI were causing more mayhem than you, don't sweat it. I went from 5th to last twice thanks to them LOL

i just have mine setup to autopit. no stalled engine for me
I was in the 26-30 sec pitstop window. Significantly faster than last week's 46 second stops.
using autopit i was stopped for like 17 secs.

Lap times are fair game for a little bragging, I've not tried it yet so you'll have to wait a bit.

Yeah...have I ever told you how much I hate you LOL
I will be on this tonight.
I didn't do a race with the AI yet but I did do some qualifying laps with that AI set to 97% and I was fastest out of them. Closest to me was 1:45.680
Just to give you an idea of what the AI is also doing.
10 laps with the BMW and not once did I complete a lap without crashing / spining.
10 laps with a Seat and not once did I spin or crash.

Those BMW's are to damn hard for me to drive. Rear Wheel drive gets me spinning everytime. I stick with the SEAT everytime.
