Restart the server back to warmup so guys can have a break and I can add ballast and reverse the grid from race one so everyone gets a chance to start up front

Well most unexpected, I had a couple of dire practices in the rain where I failed to complete a single five lap race and gave up in frustration. First race was a nice easy run as Church did...well what Church does and decided to drive on his roof and left me with a good enough lead to be able to run at a comfortable pace.
Second race started badly the AI were all around and as I guessed would happen one braked late and spun me. But pushed on and somehow I found myself running second behind Church, he pushed just a bit too hard and gave away the lead after a trip off track. I think at some point in this one I gave Kurupt a gentle touch, nothing I could do, he went sidways and I was as hard on the brakes as I dared and just couldn't get slowed down in time. Just a gentle tap but the spin out was inevitable.
Lots of great noises in my headphones as people vented LOL
Yes, we should be at Snetterton this Saturday in the WTCC cars. I am hoping to have 2 monitors working for this race. My card can only do 2 monitors so I am trying to get this setup before saturday.
I have done a few races on this track and the AI at 110% is still very slow. Should be a good race as this seems to be a very fast track.
I'd better get to banging the dents out of the Bimmer.
Congrats on the doubles. seeing the whole windscreen from the proper seating position is going to make a huge difference.
I finally got my triples operational, so Saturday will be the first outing with those in R07. To be honest, triples are nice.....but the biggest jump is going from the single to doubles, getting the full windscreen. All the triple really adds is some peripheral out the driver door...more immersion than anything. They do help a bit more once you get into open wheel, where you are actually sitting in the middle of the car though.
Since I am mostly driving left hand drive cars, i really need to see what is happening on my right, so that is where i will be adding the second monitor. I know 3 is better but for right now, 2 will have to do. I can really do a video card upgrade, power supply upgrade and monitor right now. Plus I got this monitor for free and it is the same size and resolution as my current monitor.
the IT department at work just hooked me up with a DVI cable and power cable too. So I can try to get this setup tonight and don't have to run to the electronics store to get cables. Wife can't argue with free, amirite?

Well I am not able to get this working. I have both monitors connected and working but I cannot increase my screen resolution to 2880x900.
My graphics card is a galaxy gts 450 so I am not sure if i can go any higher on my resolution than 140x900, which is what it is set before I had the secone monitor.
I went into the screen resolution settings in windows 7 and for multiple displays I chose Extend these displays and my resolution is 1440x900(recommended) and I cannot increase it. So I dont know if this is a limitation with the card or what.
Glad I didn't spend any money on this setup. Just hope I can get it worked out before Saturday.
Is it not working at all, or just not in Race07? Make sure you run Config on Race07 to reset the in game resolution once you get them fired up normally.
Both monitors work and i can drag windows from monitor 1 to monitor 2, but i cannot increase the resolution. I can only change the res for each monitor, i cant get it to go any higher than 1440x900. When i launched race 07 the highest res i have is still 1400x900 so it only runs on 1 monitor, the other monitor just shows my wallpaper from the desktop.
LOL Maybe you could, just by virtue of sheer determination but if an AI is on your inside it could all end in tears.
We running this in the wet yet?
I think that's the plan, gonna try it out today to see what it is like and report back.

Hmm BTCC don't run at night. But they do run into the early evening so we could time a start so the second race ends needing headlights.

AGree, great race. I knew my 1st grid position in race 2 wouldn't last long. The rain was a fun experience for sure.

You can see cars on each side as they come onside, and both wing mirrors, and look ahead into corners on both sides, all helps
