Hey guys I posted this in 2o2s but then thought they probably won't be into this kinda stuff and there'd be a greater chance you guys would be. Deathbattle a internet show on ScrewAttack.com does these halarious yet highly researched videos on characters across anime, comics, and games and have them battle to the death. Today their most anticipated one ever Goku vs. Superman airs today and I can't wait til it goes up. They spent 3 months researching it, even going as far as trying to calculate how much every person on Earth weighed, combined with the planet itself, b/c Superman once moved it. So it's a pretty cool show and thought some of you here might enjoy it. They do things like Link vs. Cloud and Rogue vs. Wonder Woman, a Mario vs. Sonic stuff like that.
Superman should win this without a whole lot of trouble.
Well they're only taking him from post-crisis, as pre-crisis he was pretty much god-like. However, they even have a physist run equations to try and make their battles as accurate as possible. For this battle they actually came up with just how fast Goku can move, and just how strong Supes is. According to them Supes can lift 66 quintillion pounds. They actually consulted Authors, and numerous other official sources for this fight. They even consulted with Japanese experts on the DBZ manga to make sure everything was translated correctly.
Like for the Link vs. Cloud fight, they actually did the math on just how much exactly Link could lift with his golden gauntlets from OoT. They really research everything and most battles even if the one you root for doesn't win, you can't argue with it much b/c it really feels like they researched it. They often sound like Sheldon from big Bang Theory, b/c they take such a scientific view on the battles. It's such a great site, and they still make it funny despite all the math and science.
Their best battle ever had to be the Batman vs. Spiderman match-up, it was just epic and the animation was superb.
