New Years Day Production Lobby???
Who's ready to ring in the new year with some friendly racing and banter amongst your 2O4F crew?
Assuming there are half a dozen people interested (please express your interest or discontent below) Parcells will run a production lobby starting at 2:00 EST tomorrow afternoon. We'll run 2-3 hours if people stay on board. These are production cars right out of the Dealership with no parts or tuning whatsoever.
All cars/tracks are allowed with a slihgt preference towards slower cars (hoping to get some newbies out). The format will be one person chooses a car to run, we will run three tracks (roughly 10 minute races) of that persons choosing (or vote, we'll figure out the tracks), rinse repeat. Simple stuff really as Parcells can't handle much more.
And in the Festivus spirit if anyone feels like indulging in the airing of the grievances by all means feel free to let us know how we disappointed you over the past year.

My New Year Resolution is to race more, since my resolutions only last a couple of days, I should be there.
I expect to be around tomorrow afternoon with not a whole lot to do. Sounds like this could be a ticket for the doldrums!

I sent a few requests and msgs, but no reply, I was able to join other racers just fine. NAT open all that good stuff.

Space, you may have had problems joining because the lobby was full most of the time. I know Kraigger mentioned he had trouble joining before he was finally able to get in.
I'm sorry I missed this, Parcells runs a good race event. Nothing I could do all the in-laws were here and couldn't really tell them to piss off as Parcells was running one of his production car events. I was tempted though.

It was good racing with you guys for the little time I was able to race. I apologize about leaving without saying anything. Alot of things happened in a very quick time.
1st: Race starts
2nd: my kid sits on my controller and makes me turn and brake at the same time. (on the first straight of Sazuka) I apologize if anyone got damaged during this.
3rd: my kid upon getting out off my lap decides to pull the plug on my router. Bummer
4th: my mother-in-law calls and decides to change her mind about dinner right before she comes over forcing me to go to the store to make up for it.
I apologize again. Those events all happened in a matter of 30secs. Hopefully next time I won't have such bad luck. But I did learn something while racing with you guys. I'm not used to people calling before passing or actually being careful. I don't think I'll race online in public lobbies again. I found myself to be kinda nervous trying not to crash into you guys. Shows I have alot to learn when it comes to racing with other serious racers. I'm used to racing AI or hotlapping. Thanks again guys. I hope to race with you again. Actually I will be in the Yaris Cup....tonight? No, next week. Right? I need to start smoking weed. I'll never remember anything if I don't. Haha
