Before I went triples I tried to get a two monitor set up going and met exactly the same as you, never did work it out. Have you tried setting up custom resolutions with the graphics drivers and running the program in windowed mode?
Heh, good luck with that. I tried but the amount of options and host of numbers just fried my brain, but it should work as long as you can get to grips with it
OMFG! I got it working! that softTh program works like a champ so now I have 2 monitors up and running. I had to do a little messing about to trick it into thinking i had 3 monitors but only use 2. At first I didn't think it was working because when I launched the game it only showed in my main (middle) monitor and the right hand screen was black. But i went ahead and went through the menus and when i got into the car BAM!!!! two screen setup! This is going to take some getting used to and the wife isn't all that thrilled (even though this was all free) but I am freakin out at the immersion now.
Running on a new computer now and most everything works well except.
can't get Race07 to recognize the 1st gear on my Fanatec csr shifter, all the other gears register fine.
There is no problem in other games and it was working fine on the old computer.
Trying to find where the actual configuration data is stored is an exercise in frustration, not sure if Steam or Race07 is making it so f#@$n obtuse, likely both at fault
awesome racing today guys! had a few incidents but held on....sorry church for the punt in the ass :)
i pretty sure i battled with everyone today....second race was intense knight, helios and myself running 1 2 3 bumper to bumper for the last 5 or so laps, got lucky when knight went wide, and almost blew the last turn to helios but held on!
i was completly read for a nudge coming out of each corner lol
I could of screamed when I ran wide, you all know my best skill is keeping you faster guys at bay by just keeping on line and not feckin running wide LOL great fun after as well, cost me my dinner but hey.
Sorry I missed the race. My PSU decided it didn't wanto to work anymore. So spent the afternoon replacing that. Luckily I am 10 minutes from Frys and now I am back up and running. Catch you guys next week.
Oh that sucks, you must have been looking forward to racing with your extra screen. Myself, Helios and Kurupt were still feckin around at 11.30. when I left I heard the words "just five more laps" LOL
Bummed I missed the race guys - was hoping to join in. Had to repair part of my fence (got blown over a couple weeks ago in a wind storm). What I thought would be a 2 hour job, ended up taking me 6. Figures. :(
Hope to join a WTCC race soon. Ran some laps last night at Snetterton and had a blast.

tried running race 07 in window mode, but it creates a 1440x900 window and i cannot increase the size of the window.
im gonna try softTH and see if that works.

tested knockhill over the weekend and looks like about 54-55 seconds a lap, so gonna be lots of laps for each race. Should be fun.
