Club Sport Pedals gas pedal acting weird

I have a CSR Fanatec wheel with Club Sport pedals with Firmware 737 which hasn't gave me any problems since I have installed it (a few months). A couple weeks ago I noticed when I booted up the wheel at first when I would press the gas it would only give me a little of gas in game with my pedal pressed. I would turn off wheel and turn it back on and it would ve fine. But now when I race my gas will fluctuate in game...I noticed it seems to give me issues with the more I move the gas pedal...What gives??...I have unplugged and plugged back in cords on the wheel and into the pedals...Anyone got any ideas??

Have you looked at the pedals themselves as in loosening up? I know I have had to readjust and tighten mine up a couple of times now.

If you can video the problem, try and show the pedal movement vs on screen telemetry, raise a support case with Fanatec, they should sort you out.

Make sure the grub screw on the bar with the magnet is tight. This is the bar directly behind the sensor on the throttle pedal (the grub screw is underneath). I had the same problem and it turned out to be a broken wire on the sensor pcb. Fanatec sent out a new one, but I soldered the wire on the old one to keep me going until it arrived. These are the two main issues with the problem you described.

Thank You..I will check this out tonight when I get home.

 

I did a Google search on the subject and something came up that the person changed from Sim to Normal steering and the throttle was acting up when they turned the wheel. And it turns out that I just changed from Sim to Normal when this started to happen....When I get home Im going to look into changing back and see what happens....

Ohhhh, I forgot about that and it happened to me too! Took me 2 hours and a pedal strip down to figure it out! That's exactly what the problem will be, it's a bug in Forza 4 apparently! You have to change it to assisted steering in game, save it, then change it back to Normal and the throttle will work fine. Sorry, completely forgot about that one!

Well that fixed it. I had to go back to "assisted" in game and I raced about a half lap and the throttle seemed to be fine. So went back and changed it to "simulation" and everything is great again. I MIGHT try to go back to "normal" and see what happens but was to scared to do it....=)..I guees one of the xbox updates did this because I can remember changing back and forth when I first got my wheel and dont think I had any problems..I love my Fanatec wheel but man this thing is tempramental as a jelous girlfirend

I switch between sim and normal quite often and only ever had the throttle bug once, simulation is meant to be used for the controller... There's a thread on these forums about sim v normal somewhere. At least you know how to cure it now.
