Hi everyone I just signed up after chatting to some of you in the yaris race on Tuesday and it looked to be very close racing. I'm looking for fun races which it looks like I will get here!

Hi Jonny welcome, You might want to pick out a racing number check out the thread below and see what numbers are available. Post in the thread what number you want and Church will sort you out. Check out the playboy mx-5 series in the racing forums it's a great series to learn racecraft.
I can vouch that Jonny is very fast, as are you Smokeozuna. I get the feeling that you guys will be giving the faster members a good run for their money. If you guys need anything let us know, cars, credits, whatever. We will take care of you. Welcome to the community of the mature gamer. Oh and 1 more thing, don't be surprised if us slower racers block your way, sometimes that's half the battle of a race, it makes it more fun anyways.

The boys are laying it on a bit thick aren’t they Fitzy. It has taken all of Parcells strength to not lash out at them (their newness helps them in this regard) but there’s only so much a Parcells can deal with so…
Parcells thought my comprehensive book of excuses covered everything under the sun but this Cooter clown has shown me new lows by blaming his infant son on his poor racing skills. That reaches levels of desperation that not even Parcells would stoop to, you should be ashamed of yourself Cooter!
I'm usually not bad of a driver, but that last Yaris cup race, let's just say I wasn't exactly on my "A" game. My sick kid caused me to sleep like crap for fear of him throwing up through the night for the couple of nights prior. I had to sleep on the floor in his room. Hard wood floors don't exactly make for a good bed. Between him and work, I was exhausted. I'm usually a Pro-Am borderline Pro. I'm slowly showing the community what I can do while working on my game as well. I try to study everyone, even the slower drivers, you never know when you'll need to pass that guy. 1 person I found is very hard to study, and is very hard to pass usually, InkaBodPain. It's like his Yaris magically turns from compact to Semi Truck aka Lorry when you try to pass him.

As for the infractions thing, I don't think we really are that critical of people's driving. I know you were joking, but I just wanted to throw that out there. We are serious and fun racers, mostly fun. So fun, that we try to run Burnt off the road any chance we get. I think we sent him rolling or ran him into corners a number of times during that Yaris race. I, myself rolled I believe 3-4 times when I did (BTW wasn't all my fault). Clipped the front of the guy next to me, tried to correct, pack pushed my back end, hit the grass, tumbled, last place. Oh well, try again next week.

Well, not so much infant as toddler. A puking toddler is no fun trust that. I am a bit ashamed. Gotta blame my horrid driving skills on something right? Hmm.....Ok! I got a new one. I drove horribly because I had to go save a burning building from some orphans, er, or was it burning orphans out of a building. Well, anyways....Your right *he who shant be named other than the dark one*. Wait did I say "your right"? There I go again. Well, I'm boned. Here comes the pain! BRING IT ON!
Oh and Poidsly, I'm currently working on a "Pop Rocks" golf. I think I might be joining your candy themed BTCC team. Anyone got a pre-made Pop rocks vinyl?
Yea old Ink is fun to try and pass, at least for me and some others too, but imo that is quite fun. Trying to pressure him to make a mistake or having the patience to ride him hard for a couple of laps and setting him up on one of his not so good turns to get around him cleanly. I really like racing with Ink tho, for the challenge at the very least. Again it's gonna be fun having Smoke and his freinds running with us now too, just makes this community all the better! Did I mention only 2 cautions in the Euro Yaris race? And I got a podium!
