I agree with Helios. Mel you have every right to win a race, this series is about racing and fun, not about winning, although being a recent race winner it feels good. But yeah, just race for the W man. Show up when you can show up.

Mel had said he would move out of the way to let somebody else have the points because he couldn't make every race. So just ignore my post because I was replying to something that was posted a few months back.
i caught the BTCC Knockhill race last weekend on tv. I think the last turn is going to be a big place for overtaking along with the second to last turn.
I think its fresh, it is just that bit more complex and there is that much more to explore, more sims, more tracks... that may be key thinking on it, you have been driving the same tracks for how long?
I think im pretty lucky in that sense as I dont really know how I drive on Forza, or any other racing game? I just feel the car and put it where it needs to be if that makes sense?
Pull the same trick off in iRacing and I will be seriously impressed, the BTCC cars are quite forgiving. But on saying that your a good racer dude, and I think your gonna do good. Let me now what races your going to do to get your License and I'll try to get in the same split.

If it starts on time, I'll likely miss it as I'll be running a special event race at iRacing (Roar Before the 2.4) tomorrow at 10. 1 hour race, I'll pop over to TS and see if anyone is still on after.

Until Kurupt officially kicks things off, I've taken the liberty to host a practice session with the WTCC 06/07 cars at the Knockhill track. Just look for 2old2Race WTCC Practice in the server list, no password. I'll take it down once Kurupt gets his stuff together.

So what are your thoughts on Knockhill? 55second laps are crazy! The start is no picnic either, uphill at an angle. I have had terrible starts so far.

Yeah done a few laps, 55 but that was a mad lap, this is going to be one of those crazy races.

I will try to get a few hrs in tonight but have to watch the wife as I have the WTCC tomorrow, GT cup then the MX5s on sunday and the GT Open lol.
