No worries mate, it was fun despite two disastrous races for me. That was one hell of a track and passing was really hard. I wonder what the hell kurupt will come up with for next week...
There is no pressure man, not till you win...then you attract attention LOL...If you have already done 30 laps your way ahead of most of us, that's probably the maximum I will do with a couple of mock races with the AI to get an idea of overtaking spots. Trouble is too many races demanding practice
The AI sometimes do run very fast, we have done at least one race when the humans finished behind some of the AI so don't worry too much about that, I'll fun a few laps tomorrow and see were your at.
Well I am in trouble LOL don't like this track at all and am off the pace by a couple of seconds...will need to depend on staying out of trouble and hoping that my habit of picking up time under race pressure works for me.
I downloaded a setup from the online files section (not sure if this is permitted) but I've not tried the car with the default setup - I'll give it a try later and see what time I set. I was using the 2007 Seat to set times today.
I would rather use the default setup if it means everyones times are going to be closer

Use what works mate, Kurupt can tune so you could say that puts him at an unfair advantage over those that can't, so if you find an online tune that works for you use it. I usually run with the default but the odd time have used a downloaded tune.
I am with you Knight. I am having trouble getting the hang of this track and not sure how i can beat my 1:51 because when i try to squeeze a little more speed into a corner I go into the grass. But perhaps you are onto something with adding time in the pressure of the race. I seem to have the same habit too.
I call all out disaster on turn 1, that crazy chicane is going to be a nightmare to get through clean.
Had fun today, even if I was at the back. Thanks for letting me but in. Sorry I had to cut out early though. Look forward to the next one!

Something painful I'm sure.
Good racing lads. Glad to see the back of that one though :-)
Congrats neverender on another 2 wins :-)
Thanks! I am sure next week I will be put back in my place, but winning sure feels good.
Hi Guys!
Just out of interest, what sort of times are you setting on Rockingham?
I know the track from the BTCC but I've never actually driven on it... until tonight that is and it's a hell of a track to learn
I've only done about 30 laps on it so far (2007 Honda and Seat), but it would help to know a ballpark figure for lap times
TIA,
Mapo
Heh not turned a lap yet and have never raced this one either...Never is usually the first to post a time
No laps for me yet.
Will get some in this week and post my results. Fed up of never winning all the time. 3 in a row... 3!!!

my best so far is 1:51.507.
So that means church will come in at least with a 1:51.200 or slightly better. he always beats my a few tenths! HAX!!!!
1.48.867
Shut it church! I am going to have to really focus now and get under 1.50 at least.
Practice session #1 went very well tonite now time to finish the tune and hammer down the track!
Hold up lads!
I will be on this tonight. I need to beat the AI
After getting my wheel set up properly I managed to set a 1:49.990 so I'm sure you'll beat that by a good second or two Church

Your not worried are you Neverender?
That crazy talk you have just done seems like losing excuses!
True, or maybe it is part of my elaborate plan to make you all think I am going to be slow this week and you all focus on somebody else.
I will be happy to just finish this race, let alone win.
Ive got my eye on you
Kurupts got a room open now if anyones around.
Damn you mappo (shakes fist)
Hells Bells just put me down for no points and I'll go fishing...I don't fish...shit!
get practicing :)
