I just got Final Fantasy 11 today and was wondering if anyone else still plays. I know they have a new expansion coming out in March, that looks neat too.
FFXI is alot easier now than it was when it first came out. I haven't played it in a very long time. Keep in mind that the game was designed to run smooth on a PS2 using dial up.
Yeah, I cant play it at least for now, you gotta have a keyboard and I didn't know that. Seems clunky using a keyboard a controller and a usb kkeyboard to play a console game. Thats why I dont play PC, I hate keyboards.
You dont have to have a key board. It just makes it easy to communicate and create your macros. Macros are the king. If you can program your macros good you will do ok. If you can't you are screwed.
Also, you have to play certian job types. Like mixing a mage type with a warrior type is bad.
Always wondered if that was any good, haven't tried it though. Am considering a PS3 to play FFXIV when it is re-released.
