M$ wheel settings.
M$ wheel settings.
Finally got my wheel and spent about 2 hours running around Silverstone and Sunset. My problem is.
On some of the tighter turns on Silverstone my car just does not feel like it wants to go round. I am doing roughly the same speed as i would with a controller but my tyre's are screeching so much and i am having to have full lock on. On the third corner where i would go round the corner at about 40 mph i am dropping down to like 30 mph and trying to put power down i am a of the corner.
Overally I am enjoying the wheel and starting to get faster with it and my throttle control is so much better but is there any settings I need?
I have checked the forums but not found any info.
Regards
Paul
My setup is simple. 0% inside deadzone/100% outside for everything. Be sure to check your telemetry & make sure youre getting the full range on your pedals. sometimes they aren't calibrated perfectly & you may need to adjust the outside to get 100% throttle. or you may need to put in a little inside dead zone if it's still git some throttle when not pressing the pedal.
Also you may find the tunes you were using before are just not suitable for the wheel. Generally I find controller tunes OK, but occasionally they are horrible.
How do i do that ?.
It is only around the tight corner that i loose power due to what all i can say is over steering. It does not feel smooth at all going round tight bends like the rear wheels are on lock when i start to turn.
I'd also suggest turning the ffb down to about 20-25%. This will help you maintain more precision with your steering while still getting some feedback to feel the car.
