I was wondering the same thing myself. That's one of those that I said I'd try when it was changed to Free-to-play but never got around to downloading it.
I downloaded it, and it took forever. Like 12 hours forever. I may check it out later this week. I was curious to see if I just wasted my time d/ling it if it sucked.
I hate MMO's but as far as MMO's go I kinda liked this one. The combat was better than the typical clicky nature of MMO combat, the customization was fun and the cities were fantastic. Still has some of the lame MMO tropes (kill x of this, fetch quests etc.) but the missions where you go and actually help the real super heroes out were good and the cut scenes were pretty good too. Me and Inka woooped it up in this game for a bit with our decidedly ugly tranny heroes.

i played a little. I'm not an mmo guy but the controls felt right at least. Left me with a feeling of inFAMOUS and that's a good thng.
its pretty good I have played it off and on for a couple of weeks and have injoyed it.
Played a little. Never got into it but also never played with people.
I've got a couple hours into it playing in the PvE. I need to spend a lil more time before I have a final impression.
