in a resent interview with the team boss, mr f monkey said " I'm really happy with our driver lineup and start to the season, great drives from dazjon and grim scoring good points". He also went on to say " it saddens me to see some of these so called big teams not signing rookie drivers, we signed gunny and the young lad hasn't disappointed, after reviewing the telemetry we got back from his car it was clear to see him getting faster and faster as the racing went on". Gunny a rookie in his first big series has been thrown in at the deep end with the team but is showing good promise and is one to watch for the future.

Today the team owner JDANKERT anounced in a press conference near Emden, Germany, where he is working this week, that he won't be able to race in the next race. "All I live for is my family. They need a break from the stress from the last weeks and ask me to join a short holiday trip." Insiders reported after his short statement that especially after last weeks first podium in the BTCC and after all aftereffects of this (parties, interviews, talks with potential sponsors) the little team really needs a break.
One fact is important due to JDANKERT's decision not to take part in the next race. He will loose the points from race three of the first round. We all remember the red flag, as racing conditions went worst las sunday. "Even that is no reason for me to say no to my family. I will stand the consequences."
The main sponsor ABSOLUT showed acceptance for this decision and made clear, that there won't be any negative consequence to the relationship. "We need a driver, who is completely focused on his job. Racing in this series is too competetive and therefore too dangerous to drive "mad" or with thoughts in other directions."
A reporter from Great Britain asked JDANKERT about all that ongoing stuff between the racing teams "FM Motorsport", "ROFL", "Pistonheads" and "Team Vodafone". He answered: "Well, I think all those rumours, those conflicts about deals and contracts, showing not the best side of our business. I hope that things will calm down. If we would see the same bad team orders as in Formula One, the series won't be such a public success anymore."
Interesting was, that JDANKERT had a list of all privateer drivers in his hand, as he left the press conference. A nearby standing press photograph was able to take a short close look and saw, that below some names handwritten remarks had been made. There's room for speculations. May be JDANKERT will try to find a second or third driver to build up his team for the team championship in this series? An unkown source told us secretly, that there is a private relationship between MapoUK and JDANKERT.
ROFL Racing would like to formally announce the addition of SimF40 to the ranks of our large growing endeavor into the motorsports arena! Sim, apparently was without a ride and we were glad to assist him in his desire to lead by example, not exposition.
As for the reported rumors of a romance over at JDankert racing, no one could be reached for comment...
Newly formed TEAM DBBQ RACING, henceforth acronym'd to TDR, is a prominent yet exclusive group of on-line racers committed to competitive yet clean races while sporting hot looks (no pun intended). TDR are currently represented by D Seeker34 and GRD 4 3L with 3 additional drivers awaiting their racing licences.
In the inaugural event last Sunday at Nurburgring, TDR's presence was well recognized on track. Team principal congratulated the team on the success but emphasized that the series has only started therefore the team must focus on the long term consistency and team spirit. Flying the new TDR banners on the cars with newly developed paint on aero kit will give the team a renewed competitive edge at Catalunya.
After the Nurburgring race, members of TDR did notice 2 individuals at DJankert Racing engaged in what seemed to be non-standard pit/paddock procedures. Upon inquiry of the curious proceedings, TDR was politely encouraged to M.Y.O.B. No further comments.
For clarifications, not trying to pick a fight; just following the thread trend and contributing to the wackiness.
I'm sure we'll exchange few friendly decals on track . . .
Parcells has his eye on you GRD. You just keep it to the thread and dont let it spill on to the track. Goodness gracious, the last thing we need around here is to mimic NASCAR!

Team had a short meeting after sundays race back at their headquaters, nothing but big smiles and thumbs up as they had a blast at Nur Grand Prix. Later that evening the team jumped into their private jet and flew into Amsterdam where they are spending the week relaxing at the red light disrict. Their due into Barcelona Spain on friday morning to prepare for the next race at Circuit de Catalunya. Rumor is the team is building more cars for future applicants or to be used as back up vehicles
sundays race held over for easter, will run a sshakedown session in its place
That sounds great as my attendance was going to be tentative.
Few of us already had a preliminary shakedown at Catalunya last night after the AE86/FR-S run which I was unable to attend due to weekly family physical activity in addition to unplanned chores of residential nature thereafter.

Those are team secret GRD lol. Just food for thought we would be unstoppable with you on the team. LOL.
filthymonkey approaches spanner in his hand, covered head to toe in brake fluid " only reason you'd be unstoppable is if something happened to your brakes " lmao.

Hello guys,
this is a great group with much creativity and fun.
Now for the first time I don't understand a sentence due to my lack of english skills. I blush and I am ashamed, but what does that mean?

Would love to exchange FM4 tuning concepts & approaches.
