Evil Smasher exploit
Last night I played with some guys that dropped Hyperius in 5 seconds!
They were doing an exploit that involves using the Evil Smasher and an Infinity.
i may try it later to see what it actually does. Thankfully I saved a Smasher in my bank.
This exploit does work. I still have lots of trouble getting it to work. It varies in power, but I got as high as 52. The Infinity becomes incredibly powerfull. It work for all guns equipped.
I've used it to take down raid bosses solo and in coop. It's a little bit random trying to make it work and how much damage amp you get, but if you stickwith it eventually you can glitch an insanely over powered pistol that never runs out of ammo. I was dropping Terra before he even fully came out of the hole. Warrior is equally as easy. Hyperious is a bit more difficult because of his bots, the bots dont' go down so easy. The Gee fight is still a pain in the ass hejust flat out doesn't take damage to his shield from anything but the poison fountains. Pyro goes down fairly easily but you still have to be kind of careful, use tesla grenades along with your amped up infinity for best results. The two raid bosses in sir Hammerlock both go down pretty easily.
Really there's no need to run around with anything else but the marcus built Smasher, an infinity and a tesla grenade and you'll destory everything with the exception of Gee.
I leave the Smasher in storage, I may do the exploit if farming Raid Bosses, doing it any other time takes away from the game.
They "Fixed a bug where players were able to do far more damage than intended by exploiting a buff from the Evil Smasher".
Not sure what that means, I guess we will see tomorrow.
Strike i still have your evil smasher. I tried doing the exploit Saturday night and couldn't get it to work.
No problem - keep the Smasher - I have another one. It works, took me several tries to get it the first few times.
ahh shit they fixed the smasher glitch huh? bitches.
