As some of you know, I host a dedicated MC server on a spare XBox I have. Its limited to people on the Friends List only. No Friends of friends.
The world is hosted under the Time4ABeverage gamertag. I will accept friend requests from 2old2play members in good standing. There are also members from another forum of adult gamers (if you see someone you don't recognize).
Few rules (mostly under the "Don't be a dick" category)
-Respect others creations
-no theivery
-no cattle rustlin'. Breed and share the herd.
-PvP isn't disabled, but this isn't the hunger games.
I loaded a new seed the day the update came out but, I'm going to have to load a new seed. There's no Nether Fortress in the current seed. Which means no Blazes, hence no Blaze Rods, hence no Potion crafting. Also no way to finish The End portal.
Appartently, every seed is not guaranteed to create a Nether Fortress. (add that to the bug list 4J)
I am loading a new seed that I have loaded on my XBox in Creative Mode. I've verified that it contains snow, desert, mushroom biome, swamp biome, at least 3 vilages, some extreme mtns, at least one stronghold with a complete portal, and a Nether Fortress.

Are there any projects we could all work on together or something? I was thinking it might be cool to have a small farm where anyone could get food and stuff whenever they needed. Maybe people could tend to it when they are on and then we'd just have a chest labeled "Free food" for anyone that needed it. Have to be on the honor system not to steal all the food, but I'm not too worried about that.
I'm sort of new to the communal minecraft thing, so just wondering what ideas might be out there...
Server restart this morning was to correct lag issues (having to dig blocks twice).
Seems to be lots more animals in this world compared to last one.

Fyi I'm having to restart the server about once every 24 hours to fix block mining lag.

7 and I were chatting briefly Sunday about a server "get together" when the Enderdragon part of this game is released.
Not sure how many of you have seen this thing but it's much easier to take down as a group. Once the dragon is taken out then we can make an enderball farm.
Start thinking of what times work best for all of you as to when you can be on for a couple hours and we can take on the Dragon. I'm guessing it will be a month or so before it is released.
I'm down for whenever.

I'll be out at National Guard from 25Jan to 4Feb. I won't be restarting daily so lag will probably be a problem. My wife will bring it back up if necessary, but she won't check it as often a I would.

Our Internet at home went out last night my wife is having problems getting the minecraft Xbox back online. She's also hahingnproblems with the laptop, so I think the problem is going to be with our router.
Problem is I won't be back til Thursday night. Sorry. Server will probably be down til I get home.
I'll be home to restart server on Friday night.
Latest patch out! Couple of things we've really needed.
- Fix for an issue causing blocks to reappear after being destroyed when the server is busy.
- Fix for autosave not working when the host has gone into an idle state.
So, I've tried to log on a couple times and the server hasn't been up. Are we still doing this?
Yea been wanting to get back on some minecraft, but havent seen it up lately either. Finally got my internet back up and woring right.
Sorry about the outages. We had an internet outage one night and then the xbox locked up for a day before I noticed.
