Pre-contract with driver Antz2ndxbox360
Today JDRT can confirm that Antz2ndxbox360 and JDANKERT made a deal: In the next series, in which JDRT will join and in which Antz want to race, he will racing as teammember. This is another big deal for JDRT, because Antz is fast and in the community well accepted for his personality and racing style.
New sponsordeal
After the race at the Seat Leon Supercup the Management of Dunlop [as you can see in the windows, if you maximzie the foto, Dunlop is a main sponsor at Nurburgring] contacted JDANKERT and offered his team JDRT a deal, which secures that each JDR-driver and each JDRT-car will get Dunlop tires, if no other brand has to be used in the choosen series.

"I am very happy with that.", said JDANKERT after signing the contract. "I will send all information and logos to my drivers, so that they can use the new sponsor in those races, where we are participating as JDRT."

With its hiss of compressed air and the purposeful aroma of freshly cured tyres, the Dunlop tyre-fitting awning has been at the very hub of motor racing paddocks since the birth of racing. For cars and motorcycles, it is the same: mechanics from rival teams gather with their racks of wheels, and Dunlop’s expert tyre fitters mount new racing rubber, balance it up, and send them out trackside again.
More than 300 people are employed at Fort Dunlop in research, development, manufacturing, engineering and commercial teams. A fleet of 23 service trucks transports tyres throughout Europe to more than 200 races and tests per year serviced by the Dunlop Motorsport team. Operations are under the overall control of Jean-Felix Bazelin, General Manager Motorsport, with the car side handled by Gary Wassell, and motorcycles by Stephen Male.
Jean-Felix Bazelin:
"It's a first for us to suppport a young team in racing, but JDRT has made a absolutely great job. It seems, that the owner JDANKERT, has a big knowledge of marketing. Signing MapoUK and ChurchPro as a potential place 1 drivers and realizing a comeback for Knight - a well known racer, who left FM4 for making experiences in other areas - showed his talent as manager. And then his first victory. Oh, I like those stories and it was a short telephone call with our president, in which I informed him about my wish to make a deal with JDRT."

Team PistonHeads press release: it is with great regret that I have released Parcells from his contract and he will no longer be a part of team PistonHeads future plans. I cannot go into the details of the meeting we had but let's just say it was hard having a three way conversation when there was only two of us. Parcells will continue as a privateer and I would like to wish him all the best but I won't.
What the hell? I know tempers flared but I left thinking we could just race and then I read this. Nice way to find out you’ve been dismissed from a team. I'm suppose I'm not surprised you couldn’t even be slightly professional about it and send me a PM beforehand or just tell me for christ sake. No worries Fitzy, Parcells will go it alone, look forward to racing with you.

For sunday JDRT is awaiting strong battles on the track, which are may be related to the events beside the track.
JDANKERT: "I will not comment anything, but it was a big surprise for me as I heard, the parcells left pistonheads. To be honest: I don't believe this. May be it is just a press hoaks."
All drivers are okay, the cars are okay and JDRT-tuner is doing his work. ChurchPro: "I think our cars will be very competetive. I know and like this weeks tracks."
JDANKERT: "Best luck for my drivers. Especially for my new one - Antz. In the last days I've got the feeling, that he enjoyed working with us. For knight I hope, that we have fixed all technical problems, so he can do, what he can do very fast: racing! Church and Mapo are probably racing to the podium. For myself I expect good results in the midfield."
I told Fitzy the 2O4F crew is too sharp to be fooled by our escapades and once again Parcells was proven correct. Make no mistake, there's no breaking up team PistonHeads, the strongest team needs to set an example as the floundering teams look up to us for inspiration.
Very much so Parcells.
I think they are wise to us Parcells, was worth a try anyway.

A big thank you to the JDRT Team for signing me up. enjoyed my first race weekend with a 3rd, and two race wins. Thanks Team.
ROFL CEO and Chief Creative Director Oldschool announced today that there will be a car given away at the end of the SEAT LEON cup season for the highest ROFL driver in the points standings...No confirmation yet as to what it is, but it is rumored to be under guard at the corporate headquarters in the R&D division...
PistonHeads Team Manager me will supply my drivers with whatever cars they wish, #17 Porsche GT3 RSR with custom Paint already sent to Parcells, I have sent a few liveries to Cobra and he knows if he needs a car all he has to do is ask. I don't need to offer prizes to my drivers as incentives because I already know they are winners.
Umm, This was about ROFL, not Pistonheads (meh) so...meh.
it's just something to add a little competition among our team mates, to add to the fun ( which is what it's supposed to be ALL ABOUT).
On a side note, I'm in the process of starting a sister team after some discussion Friday night out at the track, so I'll announce it here.
ROFL will still compete in GT3 and under, but we will be adding a sister team for the higher class cars GT2 and higher, under the banner LMAO !!!
Both teams will share information on tracks, tuning and may even see some drivers hop back and forth from time to time.
More to come later...
Oh, and any driver, regardless of affiliation, or lack there of that can demonstrate need for a car simply has to ask. What am I gonna do with 100+ million this late in the season? I only have room for maybe 30 more cars myself, maybe, I'd have to look. Sides, you only have three drivers...oh, and meh...
There's no prize for competing on the forums that I'm aware of...and as Parcells can probably tell you if you'd talk to them, you can't talk yourself into the winners circle...
You're right about that OldSchool which made it even more immpressive when team PistonHeads swept the podium in race 2 yesterday...the one race that Church didn't think was EPIC!

Yes, that's right, but I tell you something: It is soooo much fun to talk, post, race and have fun with you, that I love it to write about.it. I always was and always will be some kind of a story teller. Working on "press releases" and our team homepage make my lonely hotel nights more entertaining.
The true honour is to achieve on the race track. As driver. A man against himself and his boundaries. His challenge against the clock. Or in Race: one against one. And then: team against team.

@Oldschoolsmart: I like that idea of a sister team. And: THANK you for your offer. I will ask for a car or a livery. You can be sure. By the way: Saw the replay of the Blancpain Endurance Championship (like GT Open as endurance race) and I think it would be interesting, if such a championship with Ferraries, Z4's, Audi's, Aston Martin's, Ford GT's, Mercedes'es, Porsche's and Lambo's would be run at 2O4F. There is one problem: Due to my real life schedule I am not able to run such a series. I am not a tuner, not a hoster and I am not able to guarantee, that I will be online all the time.
