I fully understand why all the other Teams are making jokes at our expense, it can't be easy knowing that there is no way you can beat us on the track and the only way you can try and better us is by ridiculing our drivers. As true professionals at the top of our game we expect such childish behaviour and just brush it off as envy and jealousy. So to all those out there who think they can get to us with all these petty remarks I only have one thing to say "Meh"
After last weeks good results JDRT last weekend took a big step in the team challenge and one bigger step in the developing a progressive, competitive and future-oriented racing team. In nearly all races - the official results are not published yet - a JDRT-driver stood on the podium.
JDANKERT: “I am absolutely speechless about this team performance. And you can be sure … some of our opponents are too, even if they won’t talk or write about it. One thing I have to say to another team: Congrats Pistonheads for making a 1-2-3 podium.”
New driver’s performance
The newest driver - Antz - proved for what team owner JDANKERT took him under contract. ChurchPro, #1 team driver, was highly impressed about the demonstration of racing skills from Antz during the Seat Leon Supercup races.
Antz: “A big thank you to the JDRT Team for signing me up. enjoyed my first race weekend with a 3rd, and two race wins. Thanks Team.”
JDRT tuned cars
ChurchPro, who left the scene right after the last race for a one week vacation trip, made more than a solid job. He made important points for JDRT and he gave the team great tunes for their cars.
JDANKERT: “My BTCC car was a potential winner car. It was very fast and I was able to overtake everybody on the long straight in Indianapolis, if I was near enough. It is heart breaking for ChurchPro, for the team and for myself, that I am for now not a driver, who can make the best from those chances. The car was very much faster, than the driver was. Okay, I’ve got the tune minutes before the race and had not much time to practize, but I should have make better results with that fast Lexus.”
Other drivers
MapoUK, #2 driver, also stood on the podium, raced great in the heavily embattled Seat Leon Supercup. During the communication in the race, he was hardly and rarely heard, but like JDANKERT he is a racer, not a talker, like…. other drivers.
JDANKERT: “Some weeks ago I’ve got a gift from MapoUK. The headset for communication during the race. It was in pre-JDRT time. Since then I have a voice, like Fitzy this week stated. During the second race in the BTCC I made a special experience: Suddenly the headphones went down with a loud voice and I wasn’t able to hear wether my engine nor other voices. I had to drive 1,5 rounds only with my eyes. Well, that was crazy. Next time I will check those batteries. That I can assure you.”
Knight, guest driver, had technical problems with his car, setup and communication. He had no chance to take part in the Seat Leon Supercup.
JDANKERT: “I feel so sorry for him. I know, how glad he would be, if he could have shown his speed in this competition. Aaargh, it is a terrible situation and emotion. All team mates, especially ChurchPro, would like to help him, but…… we really don’t know how. I strongly hope, that next week the problems are solved.”
Driver: JDANKERT
The biggest surprise from the this weekend was the next podium for JDANKERT. After taking his first victory last week, this week he made it to place two.
JDANKERT: ” I am very relaxed and proud of my performance in the Seat Leon Supercup. In race two I started as third, made it to position 1 and after one mistake, the only one in this battle, Filthymonkey overtook me and took place one.”
In the Seat Leon Supercup it is very important to have a good starting position. All cars and all drivers are very competitive, therefore it is hard to make places.
JDANKERT: “I love to drive that Seat Leon and I love to race in that series, but it is very competitive and the result is often determined by the starting position. In race 1 I started as 14 and made it to 12 from 15. Race two: starting as third I made it to position 2. Race 3: I think I started as 10 and made it to place 8. That is, what I have to improve! Making more places to the top.”
Outlook for next race
JDANKERT: “I don’t know what to expect. We don’t have much time for preparation and the other teams won’t stand still. I am optimistic. Always. Maybe again we can make points.”
After jumping off his plane in Heathrow a BBC news correspondent asks Church Pro if he has any thoughts. He had this to say
"After spending a week away from my cars and team its been a good time to think of our performance as a whole.
All drivers in our team are now able to win races and now our engineers are starting to nail down the setups for the SEAT's and other cars be sure to watch this space for a very happy team at the end of the season. Especially when all drivers are on the number one spot."
We also asked h him what the team was aiming for this weekend.
"As I have been away for a week I am not yet aware of our targets set by jDan, Personally though I will be lying, if I said I will be happy if we don't score 3 podium finishes at least.
That's all the time I have for now, I have a few pit girls with my name on them. Good bye"
Church pro then jumps in his Aventador and speeds off..
Nice write up jdan. Was also nice when me and Antz both got a podium finish :-)
I will update all results tonight and post the tables below.
Especially when all drivers are on the number one spot."
As a follow up the BBC news reporter begged the question "How is that possible?" followed by ChurchPro scurrying away in his car yelling "No more questions!"

@Fitzy - Parcells is requesting your permission to take advantage of Team PistonHeads rule 37b this week so I can put in half a dozen practise laps before tomorrow's race.
Team Pistonheads Rules 37a & 37b:
37a - In the interest of fair competition no Team PistonHeads driver shall practise driving on any track within two weeks prior to the track in question.
37b - In any given series with more than 7 scheduled races team PistonHeads drivers may request to forego rule 37a a maximum of two times throughout the series with permission from the team principal. If less than 7 scheduled races team PistonHeads drivers may request a maximum of one practise session throughout the series.

what happened to Pistonheads, if they now want or need training?
JDANKERT
Its not a question of training, its just part of our team ethos to be the best you can be. If our drivers feel that some practice is needed to improve their performance it would be wrong of me to hinder their desire for improvement.
@Fitzy: True words from a real leader! Let the team do, as the team wish to do. By the way: What is that for a "management by..." style you live, if the team members feel, that it's needed to ask for permission to do something for improvement?
@all: I will pay a price for a copy of that pistonheads rulebook! Can someone "organize" it?
At 4th April JDANKERT gave Martin Mayer a chance as marketing manager for JDRT. Today, only 19 days later, Mr. Mayer is fired. There were irreconcilable differences. JDANKERT: “I won’t comment anything or tell something, what happened between us, but one thing is clear: In the last days our press releases were published, okay, but not all into the right forum threads. Aarrrggh. Everybody can make mistakes, but …… I better shut up. ......... Our statement to Sunday's Seat races can be found in the Seat Leon Supercup thread.“
In the last three races JDANKERT made a big step in his development as racer. Two times in a row he stepped up to the podium onto the 1st place! Very tired, but highly satisfied, he enjoyed drinking the champagne.
JDANKERT: “That is unbelievable. My hometrack, on which I made my first ever 1st place, is for now my strongest track. I am very happy with this result, but honestly I have to say a “Thank you” to Fitzy, but I felt sorry for him. He had an race incident, flew from the track, came back and was a rolling barricade for the pack, who hunted me.
That gave me space in the third race of the day. I am happy, that nobody was hurt.”
BTCC 2013 finished
Some weeks ago Church spoke: “I want to see JDan somewhere at 17th place.” At that time JDANKERT was 25th. “Finally I made it to place 16 from 38 in the overall and to place 7 from 19 in the Room B competition. I am very pleased with my result!”
JDRT sent congratulations and a box of german Jever beer to Steviegers. JDANKERT: “He’s a fast driver and even if I am not a Ford fan, I have to say, that his Ford Focus was damned fast and this car looked very good. Maybe I can get the tune data from Steviegers. I would like to ride that car for a test.”
If there will be a next BTCC JDRT will join as team. This competitive racing is pure fun for the drivers and great to watch for the spectators. JDANKERT: “It is the optimal marketing platform for sponsors.” Asked about the future for the Lexus-JDRT-connection he answered: “The car was great and it will be a special one for me, because I won races with it. But for the future I think I will look for another brand.”
Silverstone - hometrack of many JDRT drivers. Great and very close racing in all three races and in both rooms. After last weekends disastrous race this time ChurchPro made it again to the place, where he belongs:
First place in race one, second in race two and fifth in race three. JDANKERT: “I am absolutely pleased with his results and I can assure you: He is my driving instructor and I will make some traininglaps with him.”
Mapo’s result were also good and better than last week.
race 1 - started as 8th, got a 5th
race 2 - started as 8th, got a 4th
race 3 - startet as 16th, got a 10th
JDANKERT: “What I like from Mapo is his way of not talking during the race. He always drives very concentrated and is faster then me.”
JDANKERT wasn’t pleased with himself. “In race three I made a big mistakes in the first corner and lost 4 places. Will I ever learn not to push too hard? Aaarrghh. Let’s talk about good things: Did you notice this outstanding performance from Stevie? For now he is a guest driver - in the upcoming V8 event at Le Mans -, but I will send him a driver contract this week. I want him for the rest of 2013 in my team. He won the BTCC and is a big favourite for the Clio Cup, which start’s in june. He had to leave too soon today, but I will call him Monday.”
Two drivers from JDRT raced this Sunday in France. ChurchPro, the #1 JDRT driver, took a great 4th place. The team owner JDANKERT achieved not a good result, he was the last, the slowest driver and lapped by the first 5. He said on Monday after the race:
“It was a experience and I am glad, that I made it to the end. My car was great and I had no damage at all, but the reason for that was my poorfull driving. I am disappointed from myself.”
The other drivers from JDRT couldn’t make it to France, because many little things happened. Knight again had massive technical problems. Stevie had to solve a private transport problem. Mapo and Antz hadn’t signed up for this race.
“In my first reaction yesterday I said, that I will not ever take part in such a endurance race. Today the world looks a little brighter and may be I will try again. It is all about seattime, right?”
“First of all I want to thank everyone, who was racing with me. Secondly a extraordinary “THANKS” to all guys from the founders of this community to the actual promoters and developers! Without you all of this would not have happened and will not go on into - hopefully - the next decade. I appreciate every second of work of anyone, who is part of this. All writers, all racers, all moderators, all technicians,…… I am sure we will continue.”
JDRT Status
During the last weeks the situation of the team developed in the right direction. The financial situation is stable and all costs and earnings are as forecasted.
The sponsoring situation is clearer now and JDANKERT already signed new contracts and is in talks with more potential sponsors. At the weekend 7th/8th December the team is on the Nurburgring and will have the 2013 year event for the sponsors, who will leave and for the sponsors, who will join.
On the scheduled press conference - Saturday 7th December, 14.00 - all news will be announced to the public. This will include the driver line up for the 2014 season.
“I want to keep my team together and will talk to each of them! We had success, fun and I would love to face the 2014 challenges with them. I want to field the strongest possible drivers I can, so it is prudent to look at all the options available. There is plenty of speculation about but nothing has been signed yet. “
The BTCC 2013 was and is one of the most competitive series. The cars are FWD’s and RWD’s and have nearly all the same speed. There were many different winners on different tracks. The JDRT drivers made a good job until now.
“We are behind our own expectations, but on a good way. Church is climbing in the ranking, I am on my way, but waiting for a win and Antz had some problems. But Stevie is great. Again he is very fast. For now he is in position 3, but he is fighting for the title. Same as last time. He gets all support from the team.”, said JDANKERT

Great racing with great little cars. “Racing fun isn’t depending on horsepower. Those little “Go-Karts” are great to drive.”, said JDANKERT after the first race in this series. “It is a shame, that I am not able to make it to every race, because of my business schedule, but I will give it a try every time. In this series young and unexperienced drivers can learn many things.”
JDRT in the Peugeot 207 Super Cup
“Church and I will represent JDRT in this series. I think we have a good chance to step on the podium in the team ranking. I know there are strong competitors, most of all there is GGGM, but we will see.”
The bad news for JDRT, that the #1 driver Church is not in the best of health, did not stop the preparation and testing. “I am sure, that he will fully recover!”, said JDANKERT in Japan.
JDRT 2014
“There will be major changes in nearly all series, but with our strong will, JDRT will be able to face all challenges. My job as team owner is to secure all resources for further development of each driver and team member, for handling the financial threats and to ensure, that everybody is proud of being a member of my team!”
In cooperation with designers and marketing experts JDRT will get a new corporate design. “We want to be a strong brand, which is attractive for sponsors and fans. After one year of success and failure, of trial and error, now is the time to make a next step into professionalism.”
Designers, musician, writers and other creative people, who want to built up a completely new CI in all marketing fields can contact JDANKERT via mail: jdankert-racing@gmx.de “We are open for any suggestions and we are looking for new talents!”
in my position as an MPR driver I am not in the position yet of making the teams press releases..however this may be subject to change as seemingly we are under represented in this thread lol
During a press meeting for the next BTCC weekend JDANKERT answered some questions from reporters and made some interesting statements:
“We are confident with our ability to be competitive. We can count on fast and experienced drivers to quickly adapt themselves to all upcoming challenges.”
"It has been an honour for me to have those guys in my team. I do not regret even a bit having contracted them. I have always given the best of me for the team and they paid back with titles, wins and podiums."
“Some JDRT drivers had a difficult season. Technical issues, real life stress and health problems, but all in all 2013 was a very successful year. “
"I am so much looking forward to see all my people gathered together, feel their energy and show them the best of me. 2013 has been a learning experience to me."
“As regards our driver line-up for next year, no 2014 deal has yet been signed with any driver and we therefore have nothing further to announce at this time. As and when that situation progresses, we will make a further announcement accordingly.”
Media reports this week have claimed that JDANKERT had contacted new drivers to built up JDRT. “No comment.” was his only reaction, but he is known for making decisions to strengthen his organization ahead of the 2014 season.
JDANKERT emphasised just how important the JDRT driver’s experience will be in light of the huge regulation and technical shake-up in 2014. “Next year, we’ll witness the biggest raft of technical changes in many years, and every team will be pushed to the limit as they try their best to adapt to those new challenges.” said JDANKERT.
JDRT tackles the 2014 season with an optimized organizational structure. Church Pro is responsible with immediate effect as ‘Head of Tuning’ for the commitment of all JDRT cars. He will be supported by several mechanics. Most of them will come from Audi, who is technical partner from JDRT.
“With the new structure at JDR, we react to the growing demands and the increasingly tough competition. Now our alliance with Audi pays off.” explains JDANKERT, team owner.
Head of Tuning Church Pro: “I am proud. This is JDRT’s reaction to the increasing demands. I already know, that I will have much more work in 2014, because we are expanding.”
JDANKERT: “If we will have a situation as some weeks ago, you remember, Church was very busy in various parts of his real and virtual life, I will again buy tunes from external partners. Thanks to those, who helped us in that time.”
Hours after the announcement from Mercedes F1 team, that Ross Brawn will leave “his” team, JDANKERT called him, made an offer, but “It was a good try, but a adventurous one. As I somehow expected the financial expectations were unreal for JDRT. Maybe there is another reason: Petronas is a strong sponsor, who is also engaged in FM4 racing. Not only in F1. It would not surprise me, if Ross Brawn will become consulter for MPR.”
JDRT is very pleased to announce that three gentlemen will newly join the JDRT-family as race driver for 2014.
“In SIM F40 we have a great resource, a driver with experience and one on the brink to become a top room A driver. With Jormvngandr we have a guy with much potential for the future. And finally I could sign FlukkierRabbit , who is known as clean and fair racer.”, said JDANKERT.
To be able to call on such capable drivers is of huge benefit to the team. The 2014 season will be a period of great changes and with many great series. JDRT wants to play a major role in all team competitions. For doing so it was important to expand the driver lineup.
JDRT 2013’s drivers
“I am very proud that nearly all “old” JDR racers have renewed / extended their contracts. Church, Mapo, Antz and Stevie were absolutely great as single racers and as team members. We are on a very good way!
Only Knight will leave us. Sometimes life brings changes and he has decided not to race in our series anymore. I thank him very much for his support in 2012/2013. If he ever wants to come back, I will buy him a racecar.
Now that all contracts are printed and signed, we are the team with most drivers for 2014! I don’t see anywhere more very fast guys and more racers with great attitude, abilities and future as in JDRT.”
JDRT will establish a trainingsgroup session on a fix date and time. More than in other teams the drivers can develop their racing and tuning skills in union. The last months made clear that racing fast is all about seat time, but sometimes competitive racing in series is not the ideal training environment.
“I will organize “JDR racing seminar’s” for learning tracks, cars and tricks! And by the way we will build up our team tactic skills.”
What will it be - 2014?
"My job is to do the best I can for the team, to protect the team's interest and every employee's interests within the team, as well as the drivers," said JDANKERT. "My focus is to do the best I can for JDRT, and if that means you're not the most popular, or you're not invited out for dinners, then I don't care."
JDANKERT further understands in a world dominated by social media just how quickly perceptions can be formed and voiced.
"When you've competitive drivers, of course you're going to get issues that sometimes will get turbulent. You don't achieve wins and titles without there being discipline, without there being organization and without ticking every single box, especially against the quality of opposition we're competing against." , added JDANKERT.
“What makes me wonder a lot is, that no other team has published any news in the last weeks. May be they are struggling very hard? From today on I am very relaxed and will calmly monitor their responses to our “next big step”.”
Who's PistonHeads? I know a Team Meh?
Officials are checking the official Team Meh roster as this guy was spotted driving the Parcells car recently...

Next BTCC
If there will be a next BTCC JDRT will join as team. This competitive racing is pure fun for the drivers and great to watch for the spectators. JDANKERT: “It is the optimal marketing platform for sponsors.” Asked about the future for the Lexus-JDRT-connection he answered: “The car was great and it will be a special one for me, because I won races with it. But for the future I think I will look for another brand.”

Offer to Stevie

JDRT in the 1.5 hours from Le Mans

JDANKERT statement about “too old for forza”

JDRT in the BTCC 2013 Season II
The BTCC 2013 was and is one of the most competitive series. The cars are FWD’s and RWD’s and have nearly all the same speed. There were many different winners on different tracks. The JDRT drivers made a good job until now.
“We are behind our own expectations, but on a good way. Church is climbing in the ranking, I am on my way, but waiting for a win and Antz had some problems. But Stevie is great. Again he is very fast. For now he is in position 3, but he is fighting for the title. Same as last time. He gets all support from the team.”, said JDANKERT

JDRT in the SuperMini Series
The picture has an official JDRT Driver contract sitting on the table...how fucken awesome is that I ask? Fucken awesome I tell you!

2014 driver lineup

New organizational structure

JDRT press release
from December 7th, 2013
Driver lineup for 2014
JDRT is very pleased to announce that three gentlemen will newly join the JDRT-family as race driver for 2014.
