Welcome to the VAG Time attack, run for 2old2play!
WHAT?
Players are split into group, friendly rivalry and plenty of help to improve your times and car control. Fastest valid times are recorded here. Players will move up and down groups to keep things fun.

You can run what ever car you wish, but the idea is to get as high as you can on the lb in the 4 weeks :)
After the 4 weeks a new track will be selected.
WHEN?
Run in singles or in groups, (set ghosts on). Run at any time you like as long as you set a valid time, it counts!
HOW?
Post here to say you are interested, i'll add your name to the list and group you accordingly.
RULES
A community based event, so please don't buy storefront stuff (paints are ok), by taking part in this you are required to share the tune with people here.
Help others and ask for help if you can't do some thing :)

Event pick limitations
As this is a time attack, events should be limited to time attack type events. So drifting isn't a go, unless a vote is put up for it.
It can be any class, but try to avoid the silly combinations ie X class on iberian mini..
You can use a community rivals challenge if you wish as long as it sets a time on the lb for it.
Point 2 Point is valid.

If I may, I think it be a better event/competition if we record our lowest times. In fact, if you insist on leaving it at highest times Parcells is unlikely to participate.

I mean count Parcells out Tourni. After 8 laps I remembered why I hate hot lapping and after another 20 laps I was sure of it. Fucken stupid shit!

Would this be setup so you could jump on and post a time whenever it was convenient? It would be fun to have something like this to do outside the racing schedule. A way to accomplish something when you've got a bit of time
Thats correct dave, people can see your times on the LB in game also - But because people don't have everyone one on the FL i've created the sheet :)
Its totally relaxed, but i figured its a chance for others to say " okay i've got the first section down, but you go through that corner way faster than i can?" etc etc :)

i'd be interested but purely for selfish reasons to learn from you fast guys! i probably wouldn't be much help/advice to anyone although i am very willing to learn!
I'll give it a shot.
It doesn't matter how fast you are, this is for people how really want to attack lb or learn some things from others :) What i have learnt is that tutoring needs to go in stages, people cant dive in and learn to be a alien so don't worry :)
you can run 5 laps or 500 :)
I'm somewhere in between. Finally, a series (sort of) my crappy RL schedule allows me to do..gif "4")
I'd suggest it be run with Sim damage but that would scare away many. 
Sort of like RL qualifying. Crash your car and your sponsor cans you.

No don't run sim dmg - the hotlapping with be hard enough :D

Leaderboards really helped you to get faster. Having the ghost to push against really helps to wring out more speed.
I just looked at the spreadsheet. this is gonna be very, very cool!
