Disappointed by Xbox One?
Time to upgrade your PC and join 2old2WASD for PC gaming. Currently there is not a high enough level of participants in this forum and on PCs in this website and this is the chance this group needs to sway more people over to PC gaming again...maybe actually get us a regular FPS night once a week! Spread the word IMO. ;) We should be encouraging all of the disgruntled Xbox/PS4 posters to pull the trigger on my first sentence above.
I didn't find the announcement that disappointing, but I think there is still a lot of unanswered questions. Regardless of whether or not I will buy the new system, I will still be playing some games on the PC, which is where I do most of it now anyway.
I do hope the PC community here does grow more. By far the biggest PC presence on the site now are MMO gamers, that play on consoles for other genres. I am certainly with you on the FPS night, or any other type of game for that matter. We just need to determine what games a lot of us have in common, which should include the Free-to-Play games.
I should be done with school in December so I will actually have time to game again. I am shocked at how bad the Xbox One reveal was. It looks like I'm going to rebuild my old gaming PC and get a PS4 for all the console exclusives.
Before Tuesday, I was dead set on getting a Xbox 1. Unless something really changes by E3, there is absolutely no chance of that happening.
Edit. I'm down for getting any night together for gaming. This summer isn't exactly the best for me but I should be able to game for a few hours on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night.
looked like a Kinect (which I despise) controlled DVR. To be honest I have a really bitter taste in my mouth for all things XBOX after going through about a zillion red rings (and other hardware failures). However; I do own all the systems (except WiiU) and will probably buy this at some point but I'm not looking forward to it really.
There's dust on my 360... But my rig is blinkin'! ^^
