ARMA 3 Lite and DOTA 2 to give away
I have 2 ARMA 3 Lite (basically an alpha demo) to give away that I got for pre-ordering ARMA 3. Arma is an ultra-realistic military FPS. This lite demo would be good for testing to see if it will run on your machine if you have interest in purchasing it (I actually find ARMA 3 runs better on my PC than ARMA 2 did).
I also have about 5 or 6 DOTA 2 keys to gift out if anyone is looking for a key.
Dude, I would love to get those keys. I have been trying to find a Arma 3 lite key. I wouldn't mind trying out the Dota 2 either if you still have keys available.
I do! I'll send them via steam tonight!
Thanks!
Pardon me good sir but I have a question.
What the fuck is DOTA 2? I keep seeing this all over the place and I still have no idea what it is. Just give me a quick overview because I start to read a bit about it and get distracted by something else.
May I get a DOTA key?
Biz!
DOTA is Defence of the Ancients. It's what the kids call a MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena). Basically it is like an isometric 5v5 battle game where both sides are trying to eliminate the other teams base. Think of it like an RPG where you level up and buy new abilities and items all within the course of one match. The map is broken up into 3 lanes and team work is very important. You try to level up faster than the other team by killing creeps (ai bots) and by ganking the other teams stray players. If you die a lot you are considered a "feeder" because you are feeding the other team XP and causing them to level up faster than your team. Basically it plays out like an RPG tug of war. It has tons of characters to choose between each match and the team combinations and strategies based on character selection and play style are endless.
League of Legends would be another popular MOBA.
Pete :) key sent buddy!
Thank you!
I'll go back to not really caring now. Not my cup o' tea it sounds like.
Moba's are the hot thing on PC right now for comptetitive multiplayer circuit. I own it but still have no idea what the hell it is. It originated as a Warcraft 3 mod that exploded in popularity. League of Legends and Dota are the two top versions right now. I still have no idea how to play it but if people want to show me the ropes I'm more then willing to reinstall and have a few matches vs bots to get our feet wet.
Sounds like a good idea 402. Still trying to round up a group here to play some casual League of Legends.
I played the shit out of it when it was a WC3 mod 10 years ago. Can't wait to play!
