Just over a week before Microsoft's conference at E3 the domains for "Halo Spartan Assault" were registered by Microsoft.

The achievements for Halo 4 and emblems will draw in folks who "play" games to increase gamerscore and completionists.
If they finally included the emblems I've used for years I might be tempted, but I don't have a device that can play it. Windows 8 desktop doesn't have touchscreen. Oh well!
Probably because it isn't for Xbox One at all. Nor Xbox 360. Announcing a game for tablets probably wouldn't go over well at E3 at this point, just a guess :)

That article kind of reflects how I felt when I saw the restricted platforms.
Now, if it comes out on XBLA I'll probably give it a go, but no mention to it coming to Xbox.
