The Drivertar is a car based on how you drive.

I take it as: AI at its core with how it drives based on how you drive. So when your not racing your drivatare races how you race. (On its roof lol)

Also I noticed a lot of dirt on the the P1 for a shot or two. It also looked like wet mud?

The wheel issue is a serious one. They gotta upon this damn machine up to more wheels. They stand to gain much more customers if they do. But that would make sense.

If Thrustmaster is releasing a new wheel then I might be into it. I was looking at the T500RS as an upgrade anyway.

Drivatar - not what I expected them to use the cloud for but the thought of it being out there earning CR when you're off line is kinda cool.

Did they mention anything about being able to race cars that you build, tune and paint yourself?

I doubt we will have solid information until the show actually starts and reporters can post pictures and video and write about what they see at the Turn 10 booth, where I would assume they will have a Forza 5 demo going, possibly with new wheel(s) from Fanatec, Thrustmaster, Mad Catz and/or any other company that is going to make wheels for the Xbox One.  ISR is there and so I expect to get detailed information from those guys as to what they see and hear.  Keep in mind that telling us that Thrustmaster is making a new wheel for the Xbox One tells us virtually nothing.  They also made a wheel for the Xbox 360.

Kurupt, that's not a fantasy track. That's a street circuit on Prague.

Thrustmaster is probably the wheel with the Forza branding which is why Dan could name them specifically.

As for Drivetar, here's the list fo categories and situations from the demo. I'm sure it's not the entire list but it gives you a idea how your driving is evaluated to create your driveatar.

I did a quick search on this Prague track in real life and I couldn't find much racing going on there....found a thread that there was talks of Dtm and hopefully louring f1 back in 09 but don't recall any major events ever being raced?  Personally Brno would have been a better track

What is wrong with them? Did you try GameStop? I saw that they have bundled sets but not an FM5 bundle.

Game Stop has a Forza 5 bundle, for which they want $560 to pre-order it.

I am not doing anymore pre-orders where I pay it all up front.  If they wanted a $50 deposit, no problem.  The agony of waiting is multiplied X2 when they get the money up front.

Well battlefield 4 is now at 64. I wouldn't mind 24 Max tbh as anything over that it will gets bit messy ;)

Yeah, you might be right there but the option to select the size of the lobby with a max of 32 would be nice for Multi-class lobbies. On the right track, of course.

"Roads accumulate tire rubber and debris" - Cool

They haven't mentioned night racing. Sadly, I don't think it's going to have it.

iRacing and rFactor both have night racing.  I like transitions from morning to afternoon to dusk, like the Assetto Corsa demo has, but I have never been a fan of road night racing.  Oval night racing is great.

Its a funny thing night and weather racing. We did it once over at 2old2race and for the first few laps it was pretty cool. Then it got hard and boring lol. Just saying I won't mind it not been in the game. Wasn't there weather in Project Gotham 3?

Laser scanned tracks are nice very curious as to which ones, actually I really want to know all the tracks that are in the game more than anything and if they will have support for add on tracks in the future?  Road debris adds some great realism wonder if the physics engine will react to road debris in a different manner like lose of grip when u run wide on the marbles and if the tires will pick up debris for xxx amount time changing the grip levels?

I know this may sound nuts but in regards to wheel support I really don't think it's that much of a deal beaker to them if there is not support for previous ones....as much as the enthusiast think its important wheel users on consoles are a very small percentage of the overal sales and its just another way to suck more cash out of you

as for Xbox one will it be mass produced or set to limited qualities on release day and thought the holiday season ?

I wouldn't worry to much about past wheel support iam sure it will be compatible .....I invested a small chunk of cash and have beta testing project cars for the past year and its being released on all platforms and there's never been any word of no wheel support from past gens for this game so it would make no sense if one was supported and another title didn't.....as for fanatec taking the wheels off its more than likely cause there not the official wheel anymore for forza .....nothing more nothing less plus fanatec is now the official wheel of assetto corsa, maybe the wheels will have a shiny new AC badge to replace the forza or fanatec just won't make wheels for Xbox going forward?

Pretty sure when FM4 was coming out they were bragging about laser scanning tracks, it's already been in use.

Open wheel racers! (Where's Snappy? Is he still doing cartwheels on the front lawn?)

This one has mescratching my head...

Are they just talking about the S/F going Facebook on us with content? I mean, I'm relativly sure I don't have a style/preference for anything until I see it and then either I love it or I leave it? I dunno, wait n see on that I guess.

Yeah, Oldschool, open wheelers will be great! Looking forward to seeing some gameplay videos with those. I hope we see the Caterham, Ariel Atom and that KTM XBOW. Open wheelers will be awesome for spec series.

I want the 60's Indy cars I saw in the damn video footage!!! You know, some Parnelli Jones, AJ FOYT, Mario Andretti stuff !!! Pre wing era.

I do like the Caterham, drove that in a previous GT game, very fun.
