Looks pretty damn good. I'm glad they brought the commander back but I hope they did something to unlock it somehow to prove you're not just some fucking noob who's not going to help the team, and of course you can't TK to take the seat :)
As I was watching the event I was complaining to my wife about how you can't level the whole city. Old Battlefield you could lay waste to everything. Then they brought down the skyscraper and I shit my pants. I'm skeptical though. Can I level everything with the right firepower or is it a predetermined objective? It appears they went back to their roots a bit, will see as more information comes out. Will definetly buy though.
Yea that demo Bongsabre posted is from the E3 event but w/out what happened on stage and the commentary. They were all PCs since it was live gameplay of 64 players and that is what they'll have on the E3 floor. Doubt at this point they could get that many Xbox Ones or PS4s for a demo like that or like you said, not even sure what the max # is on the console at this point. Doodi can confirm since he was there and was drooling.
For the commander, they showed a guy using a tablet to play that role. They didn't go into detail about how it would work though.
The MP Demo from EA's E3 conference was Xbox One Code running on PC's speced to XBox One. Xbox One and PS4 BF4 is 64 player and has Commander Mode. i caught this from the GTTV interview with Peter Moore from the Kotaku stream yesterday. If it's still up it was about the 7 hour 48 minute mark IIRC. Essentially PC=Xbox One=PS4 version feature wise. I'm sure you can still do higher than 64 player count on PC.
The largest hurdle I foresee with BF4 on XBox One & PS4 at launch (Nov 2013) is going to be the lack of an install base for either console. The Xbox360 & PS3 have a HUGE install and player base comparitively speaking. I think PC is going to be where it's at for BF4. System Specs should be similar to BF3 and you should be able to build a reasonable PC for $500-$600 or possibly less if not starting from scratch.

Demo appeared to be very scripted and probably on PC as I thought I saw some "press spacebar" type prompts and some players using mice/keyboard.
Firing sounds, gun models, character animations, etc pretty much copied from BF3.
no good details yet if Commander is PC-only or on consoles as well.
map scale seemed fairly large Karkand type city rather than Metro or Bazaar type narrowness but hard to tell.
don't think they said player count for current and next-gen consoles either.
since current Consoles are hardware limited, I think it will still be 12v12 360 and PS3.
really need more details.
I think the Dice guys said Twitch tv would be streaming gameplay starting tomorrow 6/11
I'll post a link if I can find it

During the live demo I recorded from SpikeTV, the shots of the 64p staff all had XBONE controllers, keyboard, mice and 19" monitors.
They guy in the spotlight was using a XBONE controller.
Also of note:

Also it sounds like spectator mode is PC only.
