Yeah, the complainers probably just made others have to pay hundreds of dollars more. Hopefully we get some information on family stuff, even if it only confirms that its simply parental controls.

Family plan and game sharing are history. You will need the physical disc on the XBOX One to play the game or it won't work.
This is a major step backwards for everyone. Cutting the tether to to the physcial media was key to al sorts of features that we could have seen in the future and now it's gone.

Perhaps if Microsoft's new console decimates PS4 this generation, and Sony's entertainment division does get spun off as that billionaire requested and Sony execs considered, we might not have to be so held back next time around.

Interesting. Moot point for our house since we have our own boxes. But - good for others I'm sure.
It'll be nice not having to juggle paid Xbox Live accounts and signing in guests anymore, as was the case with many an Xbox 360 LAN party.

they'd better allow digital game sharing. if they do, then i'll be placated mostly.
I'm still going to buy digital for the quick switching features though. People have a bit more choice now, and that choice is mine :)
