I want to try out multiplayer but have been too into the story. Going to warn you it starts out slow with a lot of cut scenes. Then it starts picking up.
MP is brutal if you have Twitch on your team. He sucks!
It really is tilted towards the people who play a lot of it. When we got on last night there were groups of people around level 3, so they had unlocks for all sorts of insta-kill weapons while were were emptying entire clips into them and they'd live. They didn't have armor, either.
MP might be better suited for a clan night. I can tell I'm not going to like playing with the public on this.

just to clarify at Level 3 I have unlocked a few masks / helmets / emblems. I have unlocked a silencer for my 9mm and for my assualt rifle (those are what I used my level up points on). I have unlocked some more "perks" but I think the only one worth a damn was one where I can craft healing 25% faster and like I said I spent my points on my silencers (not even sure entirely what the silencer does other than shoot quieter? does it shown up on radar still?). I have unlocked a shotgun and maybe one other weapon that I could use for in match purchase item but I don't put points towards that because I'd rather just buy the armor (which is available to everyone) and ammo.

Pretty sure anything with a silencer on it won't show you on the map when firing. So...VERY useful in a game like this where stealth and first-to-fire is key.
yeah I confirmed that. I actually still have the silencer on my assualt rifle but switched my 9mm for the revolver (both free starter guns) because the revolver can drop an elephant and the 9mm you need a clip or more to take someone down. can't silence the revolver but I'll take the trade off for the extra power.
I just crawled out of my gaming hiatus this weekend too. Going to pound through the SP game first to get myself back into gaming (sounds like I'll really need the practice).
I have a bunch of you on my FL already; I'll keep an eye out for who's playing and when (but feel free to invite me - GunMunkee - any time you see me on).
I'm still making my way through the SP (about 65% finished). I'm in for MP, though, so if you see me on, you can send me an invite and I'll drop into a match -- though I haven't tried the MP yet, so I may just drag the team down.

Hey Lucky - it was good games last night! After we lost you we started losing. It would be the 3 of us working together and then whoever replaced you on their own running around getting wrecked. I don't how many times Biz told this one guy Gamerman7 or whatever his name was to stop running off on his own lol (anyone who has gamed with Biz will find this funny because he's usually pretty quiet on the mic - but he was all over this dumb kid lol)

Yeah, that was fun times, even though I was only there for a few rounds. I typically enjoy MP way more when it's really team focused. I think's that probably why I enjoy Battlefield more than COD. Don't get me wrong, I like COD, it's just a completely different mindset.
I also think a 4 man squad is ideal for mic communication. Anything more than that and it's a total clusterfrack.
Hopefully I'll get the chance to play with you fellas this weekend, and I had a lot of fun playing the MP with Tukker and Marty about a week and a half ago, finally wrapped up my 80 hour shift at work with The City of Windsor, glad to be finally out of the bloody heat.
Thanks for some of the tips listed about what you should spend your points on, the multiplayer takes a bit of a learning curve to grasp, very different than the Uncharted games
