Be sure to change the clutch button to A on the pad and just mash a+b and a+x when changing gears. Master that and it will save you a second per lap right away
Yep, thats the aim of tonight, slap clutch on, then build it up. After that, ima look at traction and stability. ABS might be a sticking point for me with a pad though, i have tried it and lost about 5 or seconds a lap over the space of a few days.

Definatly get rid of stability!! That will slow you down a lot.
If your not ready to turn off ABS or traction leave them on IMO, they dont slow you down as much as not having a clutch
Well i gotta say, with a pad, clutch is probably easier than pedals and wheel, pleasantly surprised. Stability i havent noticed and Max showed me a few tricks for shaving buckets of time off without touching the break pedal, man suzuka was sweet in these things
Hey man, are the tracks finalised for this series?
Just asking because 4 of us were trying the mazdas out yesterday and there is going to be carnage on a few of the tracks even if people are being careful.
Okey doke, im going through a major tuning refresher. I used to make some really good tunes and ive forgot most of it lol.
Hopefully i can get my self a few tenths per lap for when it starts if i ever master manual gears with the stoopid pad
Good, he'll only need to find two more after that!
Oi! In Barcelona last night with the Globals i was only a second or so off the pace with no clutch so sush!
Like Church said, it will give you another second per lap. Stick with it

If he's not used to the controller, ABS might be a good idea until he gets used to the triggers. Rest of it's rubbish...
