Oreca FLM09 - BMW Z4 GT3
Currently working on these two cars for a multi-class series.
Only details so far:
Long races but under one hour.
Set aero and gear ratios, all other settings would be tunable.
No Damage.
Race paint and number board required.
Teams allowed but no more than two cars per class on one team.
Normal race tires and minimal upgrades.
One Mandatory Pit Stop.
I will try to find a time slot that will get the most participation.
Yeah, DB. The FLM09 is basically a spec prototype race car. It's used, from what I understand, primarily as an LMP Challenge car. I thought it would be interesting as a series. I also remembered how interesting our multi class races were and thought it would be good to pick one good lower end R3 car for those that may be inexperienced with cars at that PI and class. This way BOP doesn't become such a huge pain in the neck. This way it's about the driver. Some competitors may even see improvement as the series progresses. Anyway, that's the idea.
Same day? Same time? I'm down. If so. Send me the specs for the R1. Thats my class now.
