In Game Club Reorganization/Reunification. ATTENTION!! ALL MEMBERS PLEASE READ THIS POST
After several attempts, the time has finally come to try & bring all of our active North American members back together into one club in-game. With that being said, I'm still asking all of our members (Euro members too) to participate in this process.
The reason I am asking everyone to participate is because this new format will allow us to recycle racing numbers of inactive members. So, without further adieu, Here are the details...
I have created a new sign-in spreadsheet. It's just like signing up for a race event. fill in the boxes & me & other club leaders will handle the rest. I will be clearing the "Active Y/N" field on the sheet once every 3 months. When the cycle begins again, members will be given a 2 week window to re-register themselves as active & reclaim their number. If a member misses the deadline, they will be considered inactive. An inactive member's number is no longer reserved & can be claimed by another member if they so desire. the inactive member can choose a new number upon their return. Inactive members may also be removed from the club in-game if necessary in order to make space for another active member.
For this first cycle, please do not claim a new number, just register the number that you have claimed on the racing numbers spreadsheet. After the sign-in deadline, I will coordinate with the other American club division leaders & the existing club divisions will be dissolved. Then a new unified division will be formed using the new registration spreadsheet.

Unless we get a shit load of sign-ups within his coming week, it's looking like we will be able to merge all divisions (inculding European) into one club with some room to spare for new/returning members.
Something else, i think we should discuss here is the idea of having a few people as designated "garage curators". My idea would be to have everything that is shared in the garges come through these folks for some type of simple testing/approval process. This would keep the garge filled with Series realted cars & tunes that are known to be good rather than a bunch of random stuff thrown in by everyone. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions, or volunteers?
