Great movie. Saw it 3D, incredible. Like a rollercoaster ride. Great sound and incredible special effects. Don't think this movies has any twists, or great plot, it's a Pocorn movie, incredibly enjoyable though.

I have come away disappointed from Superman, Startrek, and...Damn cant even remember the other one it was that tedious, but this one was great Pop Corn viewing, no delusions of grandeur just good old fashioned fun. Saw it in 2D as 1, it wasn't showing in 3D at my local, and 2, it seems the director wanted it shown in 2D not 3D...It lost nothing and I would give it a solid 8/10 for straight forward suspend your disbelief summer blockbuster entertainment.

I didn't think I would enjoy this movie at all, despite my love of cheesy Godzilla flicks, but I was wrong.  Right up until I saw it, I pointed out that if you could punch the giant monsters, then you could shoot them.  And the fact that the first few were taken down by tanks and missles made me happy.

Sure, it's still silly to build giant robots to punch giant monsters, but whatever, it was still fun as hell to watch.  I just told myself that the reason there were no Canadian Jaegers was because I was Supreme Benelovent Leader of Canada, and I had us make rail guns instead. 

It was like being a kid again and watching Godzilla vs Mechazilla, only I was pulling Mechazilla to win this time!
